Sec of State Blinken: Russian military the second strongest in Ukraine, a case study in failure

. .

57 of the Worlds Strongest Nations on one side and Russia on the other side alone

Romania and Poland have poured over 600 different weapons into Ukraine from over 156 different nations yes even Pakistan sent weapons

Israel is home the US artillery reserve for the 155 mm rounds over 400,000 are stored there

even they have been shipped to Ukraine

the showdown was in Bakhmut and Russian won

Russian has single handed out produced the rest of the World combined, they out stripped everyone by a factor of 10:1, this is how they fight and this is how Russia always fights

if the West sends 1 Russians sends 100, if West send 10 Russia sends a 1,000

learn from Napoleon and Nazi, Russian can not be defeated and never has, its called history

This is utter fantasy. The US has destroyed the Russian Army with shoulder fired weapons, 250 howitzers, and 20 HIMARS.

Not a single piece of US heavy armor has entered combat yet.

I can’t speak for other nations, but the US has sent a fraction of its capability.

Blinken says strong Ukraine a prerequisite for 'real peace' with Russia

America's top diplomat on Friday insisted that a strong Ukraine in control of its own territory was a prerequisite for talks with Russia, warning against a "Potemkin" or fake peace through a ceasefire.

In a speech in Finland, which after Russia's invasion of Ukraine shed its historic prudence and joined NATO, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the war launched by President Vladimir Putin was a "case study in failure".
"When you look at President Putin's long-term strategic aims and objectives, there is no question: Russia is significantly worse off today than it was before the full-scale invasion," Blinken said in Helsinki City Hall before a stage of US flags.
"Where Putin aimed to project strength, he has revealed weakness. Where he intended to divide, he has united," he said.
Blinken earlier in the week also visited Sweden to champion the Nordic country's own bid to join NATO -- the Western alliance whose potential embrace of Ukraine was cited by Putin as a reason for the war, which has killed tens of thousands of people.

Blinken delivered the speech in hopes of laying down a firm US position, as he predicted rising calls for a ceasefire or peace deal after Ukrainian forces launch a vaunted counter-offensive.
"Precisely because we have no illusions about Putin's aspirations, we believe the prerequisite for meaningful diplomacy and real peace is a stronger Ukraine -- capable of deterring and defending against any future aggression," Blinken said.
"Investing in Ukraine's strength is not at the expense of diplomacy -- it paves the way for it," he said.
A ceasefire that freezes in place Russia's gains would be a "Potemkin peace," he said.

Five years after Trump summit

The push to broker an end to the war is likely to grow with next year's US presidential campaign, in which Donald Trump has denounced President Joe Biden's arming of Ukraine and voiced expectation that Russia will triumph.
Blinken's visit to Helsinki put into stark relief the downward spiral of US relations with Russia over just five years.
In 2018, Trump travelled to the Finnish capital to see Putin, with the Republican facing wide criticism for appearing to take at face value the Russian leader's denials of interfering in the US election two years earlier.

There is little prospect now of Putin visiting a European Union nation or meeting an American president -- and Blinken called him out in harsh terms, saying he was sending Russians to die in "a meat grinder of his own making."
"The Kremlin often claimed it had the second strongest military in the world -- and many believed it. Today, many see Russia's military as the second strongest in Ukraine," Blinken said to chuckles from the invited audience.
He mocked critics who said that peace meant to "stop supporting Ukraine" or for Kyiv to "cut its losses and give up the fifth of its territory that Russia illegally occupies."
Blinken instead vowed to keep building a "military of the future" for Ukraine, which has received some $50 billion in US assistance since the war, with the United States recently agreeing to F-16 fighter-jets.

While proud of Western unity against Putin, US officials have been increasingly uneasy about lukewarm support in the developing world.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva raised US concern when, on a visit to China, he partly blamed the United States for the war, while India -- a growing US partner and current head of the Group of 20 -- has refused to sever its historic ties with Moscow and instead has taken advantage of bargains on buying Russian oil.

China has also sent an envoy, a move met privately with scepticism by US officials.
Blinken said that Russia's relationship with China has become "more and more one-sided" and that the Ukraine war has only strengthened US resolve against "potential threats" from Beijing, which has not ruled out force to seize self-governing Taiwan.
Blinken said that the United States "welcomes any initiative that helps bring President Putin to the table to engage in meaningful diplomacy" but only if it ensures Ukraine's territorial integrity.
"We will support efforts -- whether by Brazil, China or any other nation -- if they help find a way to a just and lasting peace, consistent with the principles in the UN Charter," he said.

The Russian Army has been annihilated at minimal cost to the US. 250k casualties with 10,500+ equipment losses in 15 months? This is a huge strategic victory for the US. And not a single US soldier, aircraft, ship, piece of heavy armor has been lost. Not a single missile fired.

Not even Reagan could have dreamed of this.

As for the Taliban, they were overthrown in a month back in 2001, and country occupied for two decades. Russia is suffering more casualties in a single day than the US did in the last 10+ year’s combined in Afghanistan. There’s no comparison.

Where is part 2 of them taking Maryinka after 15 months of superior russian fighting. Russia out producing 57 of the strongest nations in world (or was it simply the whole world?) and theyve reach half way through a town 5 minuts from Donetsk firing a couple of tank rounds at ruins. Impressive.

how many days did it take for the so called mighty US Army to take Fullujah? against poor unsupported Iraqis in tennis shoes?

and exactly how many days after did ISIS emerge from Iraq after the US victory ?

250k casualties seems so out of proportion.. realistically, i wouldve called out 10,000 soldiers.. Where did you get this number ???

casualties is a term used to reference both killed and injured..

Why are you asking? To my knowlegde this is Russia invading Ukraine. Iraq and the US is not taking part in the fighting. Never the less, the US could have bombed Fallujah like the Russians do in Ukraine with ease. Comparing the US fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan with the war in Ukraine is ridiculous. The US invaded and controlled both countries within a short period of time. If they were acting like russians both countries would have been ethinically cleansed and exist as vasal states of the US now.
