SC warns Raj Thackeray, asks him to stop hate speeches
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday warned Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray against making hate speeches against other communities. The court told Raj that unless he stopped making such speeches, case would be filed against him.
Raj had approached the Supreme Court to transfer the cases registered against him from Patna, Jamshedpur and Madhya Pradesh to Delhi for allegedly making hate speeches against North Indians.
He is also facing 73 criminal cases in various courts all over Maharashtra for allegedly inciting riots which broke out after his arrest in connection with anti-North Indian tirade launched by his party in 2008.
