I think it is amazing that the arabs keep buying Brittish. Did they forget what happened with the Tornado deal? Al Yammanai... I thought they had lots of things rusting on the tarmac... Well, as an old Dutch friend told me... They builded a perfect hangar for the F15's. Then the master arab came... It was not big enough. They had to tear it down and build a new one... This EF2000 deal hopefully will have some more research. IS it becasue they are not allowed to have JSF?

The current chief (who retires tomorrow) also has time in the Typhoon. Its a beautiful aircraft with a great potential. This deal is nothing like that of the Tornadoes. The Typhoon without a doubt gives the RSAF a massive offensive punch. Something that Americans could not afford to offer them due to the Israeli pressure.
