How is this really productive and I have said it many times his presence pushes away many other senior posters because his just spamming, insults, name calling, childish way of conduct. Please just get rid of this pest and perma-ban him how hard can it be put him out of his misery banning him twice on temporary was not enough... Could you give us some examples for this part of your report about a company from Saudi origin which is giving services to most advanced companies in the world (in defense sector). What production makes these companies eager to cooperate with SAMI?

Keeping in mind, these companies mentioned above are almost undisputed in military sector. Unless these companies have agreed to some TOT making Arab scientists capable of producing defense equipment/technologies under license? Which imo, is absolutely impossible considering the monopolistic nature of these western companies.

Everyone's publishing these fancy lists. Does anyone has a revenue number that KSA produces by selling to these military giants? That would tell us what's really going on....

There were no example but merely some keywords like electronics, which is mostly seen as a future development following 2030 vision of the Kingdom.

Conclusion is, its a plan for future developments not for current. Considering the fact that based upon quotes of former Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev who said that Russia is at least 10 years behind west in electronics field, Sauds in order to cooperate with those giants have to buy the technology to achieve the predicted goals under 2030 vision. In short it wouldnt have the slightest difference in defense spending of the Kingdom but only bringing Foreign companies into the Kingdom. Which means they would still be the same buyers of the past and playing with words doesn't change this very fact.

We cannot expect Sauds to catch up with Grumman in the next 10 years......... Its laughable to claim they can leave Grumman behind in electronics. A company that developed F-14 Tomcats having AWG-9 as its eyes and ears. Even with the standards of those years, Grumman made a Miracle. Till late 2005, and before developing APG77, Tomcats had the strongest radar of the world. How can anyone catch up with them in a short span of time is beyond my understanding unless they give SAMI special points of TOT. The question would be, how much would you have to pay a company like Grumman in order for them to share you their high value technology?

The only way to turn these companies into clients of your products, is, to leave them behind technologically. That's what makes me wonder about this article.
