Saudi Arabia to buy nuclear bombs from Pakistan: report | New York Post

Saudi Arabia will join the nuclear club by buying “off the shelf” atomic weapons from Pakistan, US officials told a London newspaper.

The Saudis — who financed much of Pakistan’s nuke program — are fearful of international efforts to keep its enemy Iran from acquiring a bomb, the Sunday Times of London reports. The Saudis think the deal, backed by President Obama, will actually accelerate Iran’s nuke push.

Saudi Arabia has talked for years about acquiring a bomb from the Pakistanis. “The House of Saud has now made the strategic decision to move forward,” a former US defense official said.

I don't think you will sell a nuclear weapon to them. But proliferate the know how to build one is possible. They have been the bank for pakistan for awhile now, and have established close ties among the islamist elements within the military.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Talk about flogging a dead horse.

This horse is very much alive and kickin and has been a concern for a long time. That is why we are trying our damndest, along with the P5, to makes sure Iran does not have nuclear weapons capability. Else the whole region will try to go nuclear too.

Too many anti Iranian countries in the middle east, and they will not sit by and allow only Iran to have nuclear weapon capabilities. The world is not safe for us if we have more countries going weapons hot nuclear.

. . . . . .
BS propaganda begins again.

So giving nukes to israel wasn't proliferation ....

Israel is not recognized as having one, just a lot of rumors behind it. Regardless- giving it anyone is a bad thing. The goal is to not keep giving it or allowing more to develop it.

Retired. Update yourself.

Nukes only belong to Judo Christian countries didn't you know?

What is retired? the person, yes, but not the machine behind it.

Nukes are not be allowed for anyone anymore as a goal. Always back to a "religion" argument with you guys.

Why should this not be a possibility? They did fund most of your program right? Plus lots of other money? Obviously can't be out of goodness of heart alone.

Is it a similar deal that the US and Israel have?
