Saudi Arabia suspends oil exports through Bab El-Mandeb

Saudi Arabia, the world's top oil exporter, temporarily suspended all oil shipments through the Bab El-Mandeb Strait after attacks on two crude-carrying vessels by Houthi rebels in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said on Thursday the kingdom would halt all oil shipments through the strait immediately.

The suspension will last "until the situation becomes clearer and the maritime transit through Bab El-Mandeb is safe", Falih said in a statement.

Houthi rebels targeted Saudi tankers in the Red Sea causing minor damage to one, the Saudi-Emirati coalition fighting the group in the war-torn country said.

I believe this is a wise policy of KSA to 1) further delegitimize the Houthi terrorist cult, 2) naturally this will increase the oil prices and most importantly, 3) continue the successful assault on Hudaydah having one more reason to tell the world that the Houthi terrorist cult are a danger for world trade (10% of the world trade passes through the Red Sea and thus the Bab el-Mandeb strait).

Wrong. Chinese citizens were evacuated with the help and coordination of the Arab coalition and China-KSA relations are 1 million times more extensive than the non-existent China-Houthi terrorist cult relations. Let alone the Arab coalition.

No, China cannot defeat Houthis unless they exterminate 100's of towns (civilians included). Using that tactic, KSA would have won the war within 2 weeks at most. Just use chemical weapons and its over with.

KSA crushed the most dangerous Al-Qaeda branch in the world between 2003 and 2006. Yet 1-2 times a year some lone wolf or a sleeper cell commit a terrorist act (shooting, suicide bombing). Houthis have 250.000 members. They are the largest terrorist group in the world alongside Taliban. Can't completely be defeated military unless you use my tactic.

Even China cannot remove all terrorism from Xinjiang. The entire world cannot fully defeat ISIS in the tiny areas of Syria that they control. Even in Mosul, ISIS makes attacks today occasionally and across Iraq.

To remove all terrorism and crime you need to kill off all humans prone to such behavior/manipulation. Not possible.
