Saudi Arabia has said it is ready to normalise relations with Israel based on the 2002 Arab initiative proposal for peace.

In an interview with the Riyadh-based Arab News daily, Abdallah Al-Mouallimi, the kingdom’s permanent representative to the UN, said Riyadh is committed to the Arab Initiative for peace, which calls for the end of the Israeli occupation of all Arab territories occupied in 1967 and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital in return of normalising ties with Israel.

"The official and latest Saudi position is that we are prepared to normalise relations with Israel as soon as Israel implements the elements of the Saudi peace initiative that was presented in 2002," Al-Mouallimi said.

He added that once implementing the initiative, Israel will have recognition "not only from Saudi Arabia but the entire Muslim world, all 57 countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation".

"Time does not change right or wrong. The Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories is wrong no matter how long it lasts,"
the diplomat said.

Last month, Israeli media reported that a delegation of some 20 American Jewish leaders had visited Saudi Arabia and met with senior officials there, including at least six government ministers and senior representatives of the Saudi royal house, in an effort to review possibilities of establishing ties between Riyadh and Tel Aviv.

Saudi Arabia has repeatedly reiterated its commitment to the Arab parameters for peace with Israel expressed in the 2002 Saudi-proposed Arab Initiative.

Israel occupied East Jerusalem during the 1967 Arab-Israeli war and annexed the entire city in 1980 in a move that has never been recognised by the international community.

I expect he said it because It seem pretty in-line with our policy or OIC policy?

This is the poisition they took;

(a) Complete withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories, including the Syrian Golan Heights, to the 4 June 1967 line and the territories still occupied in southern Lebanon; (b) Attain a just solution to the problem of Palestinian refugees to be agreed upon in accordance with the UN General Assembly Resolution No 194. (c) Accept the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on the Palestinian territories occupied since 4 June 1967 in the West Bank and Gaza Strip with East Jerusalem as its capital. In return the Arab states will do the following: (a) Consider the Arab–Israeli conflict over, sign a peace agreement with Israel, and achieve peace for all states in the region; (b) Establish normal relations with Israel within the framework of this comprehensive peace.

When it comes to Israel, Arabs are nice gentle Sheep but God forbid when it comes to their Iranian neighbour, they are the 500 million front with 1 billion years of civilization which has conquered Iran once per year.

One by one Arabs broke their united front, recognizing Israel without getting recognition of Palestinian borders. They are a horror show.

You dont read carefully, look post number 3 made by Ghazi. This thread is unnecessary and can bring people misunderstood on Saudi real intention

You assumed wrong. I had read post #3 before. What makes you think Israel will relent now to 1967 borders given that in 2002 Arabs had a larger united front against Israel.

Basically the position of most countries who don't recognize Israel and want a just settlement for the Palestinians.

. . .
If those conditions are met, Pakistan will also happily recognize israel.

Doubt it.

Fundamentally Israel of 48, 67 or 73 remain the same from Pakistan's government perspective.

It will be the biggest uturn of the century if any Pakistani government decide to revisit the States policy in that regard.

Jinnah died in 48 announcing 2 clear policies for both Kashmir and Palestine. Nothing has changed from then on.

Basically they all jews behind the mask. These bhegarat oil kingdoms funded chaos in Muslim world and doing the work of shaitan west, now they are openly sleeping with the enemy like whore they are.
What makes it disgusting is the fact they ruined countries like libya. Qaddafi for all his mistakes was resisting the western hegemony and tried to unite whole of africa. He also tried to move towards dinar currency and barter which would have been end of western power.

Do you have any idea what happens if all the so called retards that you are referring to, all of a sudden announced recognition of Israel openly?

Every power around the world would come to this conclusion that Muslims are bunch of Fkholes that you can occupy a piece of their lands on every occasion, persecute them and displace them to Europe and other places around the world.

Wait so they have to give the Palestinians their due rights as per the Saudi accord right?
