They abstained actually as were only observer then so no vote wouldn't have an effect but now after becoming member it has

And you just had to post despite the fact that you had no idea. Let me enlighten you, the entire GCC has a SINGLE vote at FATF and Saudi Arabia had the voting right at FATF on account of GCC.

- The US troops were in KSA to liberate Kuwait, not defend Saudi Arabia, who has refused them on its territory before the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait..

- Pakistan has currently around 10 000 troops in KSA with a training duty..but in case of an attack on Saudi Arabia, everyone knows that Pakistan will assist with men and material as Pakistani Army chief's and leaders have openly stated the will and intention of Pakistan to defend Saudi territory at all cost..

And that is precisely my point, your investment of Billions in US and Pakistan ensure your defense by these countries. US is not reliable as their independent Senate can veto boots on the ground at any time whereas Pakistani Army will have no choice but to defend Saudi Arabia in case of aggression, even if that aggression is by Iran.

- Where does Islam prohibits appointing sons of kings as future kings when based on merit? maybe you should ask the Ottomans and some other Khalifat before them.. they most likely knew better if it was non-Islamic or not...As Arabs we care about the Arab world which is a big part of the Muslim world, hence we care about both..Do you care about the Muslim world and not about Pakistan?

After passing of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the way Sahaba RA (companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) decided the system of Caliphate and choosing of the Caliph established and laid the foundation of choosing of Caliphs. The beloved nephews of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) embraced martyrdom to oppose Kingdoms and passing on of power through lineage. Even the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not pass on the leadership to his lineage.

I do indeed care about Pakistan but I care about the Muslim world more than I care about Pakistan.

- Nope, Japan, South Korea, Germany, China, France and many other US allies or friends invest more in the US than KSA..get your facts right before posting baseless opinions again..

Please read my post again, my emphasis is how much Saudi Money assists the US Military. Saudi Arabia quite possibly outspends all the others. And I was specifically speaking about investment in Military equipment. I also assume that I will not have to get into the semantics of how Saudi Arabia invests in US Military R&D by procuring Military equipment in the hundreds of Billions of USD or more each decade.

- Look up how much support for yourself..you'll find many threads showing that here on PDF or you can visit the net..

- War are still going on in the Arab world..and that is experience on the ground..It never stopped since the establishment of Usrael..Talk about some war experience(s)..Egypt, Syria, Iraq vs Iran, Libya, Yemen, Lebanon, Morocco vs Algeria.. a 15 years war of the desert..Sudan, Palestine...to name a few without details..So war for the Arabs is an ongoing thing, almost a part of life..

It is a good thing that your country has NOT seen war and I hope and pray that you do not have to see war, because otherwise it would also mean us getting involved in that war. Your tiny skirmishes cannot be considered wars, your aerial bombardment of helpless civilians cannot be considered wars. Trust me when I say this, you have NOT seen war.

- Musharraf executing Nawaz Sharif would have created big problems for Pakistan not for Saudi Arabia.. think about it..

It would have saved us decades of trouble, you gladly execute someone who brings in an ounce of narcotics but defended someone who has robbed the country of Billions of USD and many many other things associated with that money such as pride, respect, defense, development and growth of Pakistan. You started a chain of events which resulted in sacking of Musharraf by the same NS's Lawyer supported movement merely 9 years down the line and we have still not recovered from it.

Saudi Arabia didn't have a "vote" at that time.. to vote against Pakistan.. so the premise is basically false..

Let me say this categorically that I was personally involved in the FATF process and there is absolutely NO doubt in my mind, or that of my peers, that Saudi Arabia abandoned us in exchange for a permanent membership of FATF. It is entirely possible that Saudi Arabia capitulated under US pressure and not just to get the permanent membership but fact remains that Saudi Arabia abandoned us.

Although the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is a full Member of the FATF, the individual Member countries of the GCC (of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates) are not. As an FATF Member, the GCC is committed to implementing the anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CFT) measures agreed to by the FATF Members - in particular, the FATF Recommendations.
To monitor and assess the progress of its Members in implementing FATF standards, the FATF conducts a mutual evaluation exercise. As the GCC member countries are not Members of the FATF themselves, and their mutual evaluations are conducted jointly with the regional AML/CFT body for the Middle East and North Africa (MENAFATF).

In case of aggression against Saudi Arabia.. there are 500 000 Saudi professional armed forces men.. Pakistan will certainly assist with all its might.. the US might to.. and other Arab and Muslim countries will intervene with force.. in brief, Saudi security is GCC, Arab, Muslim and others with high interest stakes in the region security..

Even the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not pass on the leadership to his lineage.
The prophet (PBUH) did not have boys, only a girl..The conflict between Muslims at that time was mostly about who should become a Khalif..Ali or Abu Bakr..

I do indeed care about Pakistan but I care about the Muslim world more than I care about Pakistan.
Pakistan is an important part of the Muslim world.. you should care about it first, because individual nations strength makes the whole Muslim world stronger..

Saudi Arabia outspend the others in the last decade not always.. just look how many F-35s are being procured by Europe, Japan and others..Saudi Arabia only invests in R&D for Systems to get TOT..And this is the first $100 billion dedicated to this decade.. till 2008..this deal includes systems, like THAAD, P-8 Poseidon, very advanced frigates with AEGIS derived systems, military transport airplanes, SAR airplanes..and much more very advanced systems and equipments..that even you invest $500 billion in Muslim world's countries and their defence industries..you might need to wait 50 or more years before seeing something like these being made by any Muslim country..While the need is for Now..

Saudi Arabia has participated in All Arab wars against Usrael..
What do you call being targeted with more than 200 Ballistic Missiles? and now drones?
There is no bombardments of helpless civilians in Yemen..unless you want to call Houthis helpless civilians..And those are no tiny skirmishes in Yemen.. it is a full fledged war day in day out..Saudi special forces are fighting there along their Yemeni brothers in extremely difficult terrain to get rid of the Houthi militias..

Well even the Pakistani government didn't know much about how corrupt Nawaz was till the recent probe.. how do you expect KSA to have known about it?
Knowing that now..KSA has let him down..

I understand you are looking for some sense of importance throughout your posts.. but look at my answer from FATF itself..
