What's new

Saudi Arabia executes 81 in one day, the highest in modern history.

When I used to live there the execution used to take place after Friday prayer where a very tall executioner would arrive and he would be given a special sword which is only supposed to be used for execution. The person who is going to be executed is given some drugs probably to end fear and his face and eyes are fully covered. The executioner would then very skillfully chop the criminal's head off and he would do it in such a way that not even a single drop of blood would stain his clothes. The medical team would then immediately take the body to the hospital to reattach the head of the criminal to his body after which the dead body is given to the family of the criminal so that he can be buried.

The criminals that get the death penalty are usually murderers, rapists and harassers who sexually harass women.

Yes death penalty is only for sexual crimes.... other wise for smaller crimes whipping is the common punishment I heard... since you have also been in Saudi is it true that criminal's relatives are forced to clap and celebrate after he is executed?

Much humane than Indian style mob lynching

You can find out practically

Mob lynching happens in many countries.... mob lynching happens in India too but its not Govt. supported..... its a crime in India btw....

I have never seen an execution in my life but my father saw it once in Saudi Arabia, he told me that as soon as the head got chopped off the criminal's body everyone looked away and started reciting some prayers like someone was reciting a prayer for forgiveness while others were reciting some other prayers. No one was clapping or applauding, the environment was very tense, no one was happy at that moment but at the same time, people felt satisfied because justice was served and this criminal got the death penalty for committing a murder.

I have neither seen nor heard of criminals getting whipped in Saudi Arabia so I can't comment on that.

.
Im certain that most of these 81 were political executions and didn't deserve to be executed. Also a smart move to do it now while the world is distracted by the Russo-Ukrainian conflict.
You are spot on

Personally, if Islamic laws were implemented in Pakistan there would be less crime.

In fact that is what most people want anyways in Pakistan.

Unfortunately the kingdom is corrupt and if first person to be executed was their crown prince; then we can truly call it justice.

.
That's why criminals minds for any crime in western countries have too lenient laws even for capital murder or political affiliation.

lol laws in the west are supposedly based on "liberalism" or "tolerance" nonsense.

No wonder why murders and people who commit serious crimes are not punished severely enough.
