Saudi Arabia on Tuesday beheaded a Pakistani convicted of drug trafficking and one of its own citizens for murder, the interior ministry said.

Saudi Bandar Khalaf al-Enzi was found guilty of strangling a man to death during a dispute, the ministry said in a statement carried by SPA state news agency. He was executed in the north Hail region.

Pakistani Kamran Ghulam Abbas was executed in Khubar, in Eastern Province, after being convicted of smuggling a “large quantity of heroin,” the ministry said in a separate statement.

The two beheadings bring to 48 the number of executions carried out in the desert kingdom this year, according to an AFP tally.

Human Rights Watch expressed alarm last month at a surge in executions, which saw 19 people beheaded between Aug. 4 and 20 alone. HRW said eight of those executed had been convicted of non-violent offences such as drug trafficking and “sorcery,” and described the use of the death penalty in their cases as “particularly egregious.”

Rape, murder, apostasy, armed robbery and drug trafficking are all punishable by death under Saudi Arabia’s version of shariah law.

From stealing, killing (for money to buy drugs), rape (drug women and use them), driving under influence....and many other damages to society anyone supplying that should be removed from the face of the earth instead of wasting tax payers money (some of which are relatives of the robbed, killed and raped victims) to rehabilitate a criminal....

Now that really no logic my man. This drug is curse and destroys life of not just a single man but the people attached to him/her. So y not just destroy the lives of those who are out there to destroy our life. There should be no mercy for such criminals Pakistani or not.

People should know the law of Saudia for Narcotics. When you enter in air terminal you will see a BIG SHINING warning for such crimes. No mercy straight to gallows.

So be careful when coming to KSA . Always check the luggage before coming to airport and as they always say dont take things from strangers.

Law is strict for foreigners but not citizens. Saudis will not be beheaded for it. Yes, beheading for just drug dealing is not right to punish someone.
