Israel is now poorer than than Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Arab Emirates and Oman. Looking at Middle east, Turkey has 18k $, Iran has 17k, Lebanon 16k, Iraq 14k, Jordan 11k, Ymen 4k. The entire arab world which includes even north africa has 15k vs Israels 31k.

Saudi Arabia is now the biggest economy in the middle east, and not only is Saudi Arabias, Trukey and Irans Economies bigger than Israel so are now Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait and Qatar. Even Kazakhstan and Algeria have bigger Economy than Israel now, looking beyond the ME.

The Arab World Economy is over 23 Times larger than Israel

It can be argued that Israel is too dependent on the US and failed to develop an economy independent from foreign aid similar to other countries like North Korea

Jews are pretty good when it comes the stuffs related to the finance.

But when it comes to the military industrial complex, many critical areas has been set forbidden by the elite Anglo-American groups.

That's why Israel often seeks the military cooperation from the non-western nations such as Russia and China.

It can also be argued that Pakistan was settled by Martians! An argument that Israel "failed to develop an economy independent from foreign aid" doesn't last long, as it fails to explain the great successes of Israeli innovations.

i don't think angloamericans denied those to jews because jews are jews. i think they denied them to jews because jews are israelis - their ultimate loyalty to a booger-sized country means these jews may contribute to crazy, irrational military plans of a puny little country with little stake in others' existence or their own. jews and israel are just too insignificant a geopolitical force to be trusted.

1) Israel does not receive economic aid from US since 2008, only military.
2) Only 3 countries in Middle East have GNP per capita higher than Israel: Qatar, UAE and Kuwait. Tiny countries with tons of oil.
3) Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman have much lower GNP per capita than Israel, despite their oil.
4) All others are not even close.
5) About 30% of Israel population are Arabs and Ultraorthodox Jews who contribute very little to GNP. Among the secular Jews GNP per capita is higher than in West Europe.

1) Israel receives a ton of aid and donations from across the world. It makes no sense to include Israel as there is a constant flow of foreign Jews who are allowed into Israel for just being Jews. Often wealthy Jews.

2) Israel is only bigger than Qatar. UAE is much bigger. And has a bigger population too. Kuwait has a similar population as Israel compared to its smaller size than Israel.

3) Saudi Arabia does not have a lower GDP per capita than Israel anymore nor is it much lower by any means. The newest data from the World Bank as of late April 2014 shows this. It's not KSA's problem that other countries are not blessed with oil, gas, enormous mineral wealth etc.

Lastly the non-natural resource sector in the Saudi Arabian economy is soon going to be overtaken by the remaining economic sectors. Those sectors of KSA's economy are one of the fastest growing in the world.

By 2050 the GDP per capita in KSA is expected to be the sixth highest in the world and by far the highest in the ME.

Saudi Arabia is set to be the Middle East’s richest economy in terms of GDP per capita by 2050, according to a forecast by Citibank.

The report forecast that Saudis will have an average wealth of $98,311 by 2050. This is nearly four times the current rate of $24,200 gross domestic product (GDP) per capital, according to the CIA World Factbook.

The oil-rich kingdom tops the rankings for the Middle East and will be sixth overall on the global list by 2050, the rankings showed.

Singapore is set to top the worldwide rankings with $137,710, with Hong Kong ($116,639), Taiwan ($114,093), South Korea ($107,752) and the US ($100,802) rounding out the top five. With Saudi Arabia on sixth, Canada ($96,375), the UK ($91,130), Switzerland ($90,956) and Austria ($90,158) conclude the top ten.

I couldn't post the link to this article since I'm new but according to this forecast which was reported by many media outlets including The Economic Times, Qatar and UAE won't even be in the top 10 wealthiest countries in terms of GDP by 2050.

That news is 2-3 years old.

4) Ok.

5) Why are Arabs contributing "very little" to the overall GNP. Any source for that?

Donations are not even close to oil income. Plus donations is what people earn.

Population only slightly bigger.

Kuwait has a similar population as Israel compared to its smaller size than Israel.
Population of Kuwait is two times smaller.

IMF data form 2013:

Israel - 37,035
Saudi Arabia - 24,847

I dobt that such a huge gap possible to close in 1 year.

The current municipal tax collection rate within the Arab population stands at 18.6% as opposed to 53.7% in the Jewish sector.

The Center’s report has shown that a staggering 54% of Israel’s Arab population lives in poverty, as compared to 15% of the Jewish population.

Note: Most of the poor Jews are Ultraorthodox.

The employment rate reflects these gaps too, standing at 41% among Arabs, compared with 59.6% among Jewish Israelis. Female-Arab participation is the workforce is especially low, with only 21% of women working, compared with 57.9% of Jewish women.

Again is subtract non working orthodox then gap will be even bigger.

You ignored the other factors that I mentioned namely the constant flow of foreign Jews, often wealthy, who become Israeli citizens overnight. The donations and aid is still significant. There is a difference between foreign aid/donations and ones OWN resources. Whether oil, gas, minerals or whatever.

Yet still bigger.

I never said that Kuwait had a bigger population.

The IMF data is notoriously bad and they count the income of non-Saudi Arabians/migrant workers which is not fair. Also different sources give very different data.

Also that data looks inaccurate.

According to the IMF data of 2013 then it looked like this:

Saudi Arabia:

31,245

Israel:

34.770

List of countries by GDP (PPP) per capita - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That's data according to the World Bank as of late April 2014. It's not impossible for KSA to have overtaken Israel.

As I said Citibank and dozens of other sources predict that the GDP per capita of KSA will be among the sixth highest in the world by 2050.

Why are Palestinians living in such a poverty then? And how reliable are those Jewish media/data?

Yes, and economic growth in KSA is hindered by dozens of moronic laws and half of the population (women) are still not participating in the workforce as much as they should but that is at least slowly changing and that is why KSA's economy is growing so quickly and have so many positive prognosis.
