The Sarang helicopter display team of the Indian Air Force performed a breathtaking display to mark the 10th anniversary of the team and it coincided with the two-day conference of operators’ of Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH).
Air Marshal R.K. Jolly, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command took part and he was received by Air Commodore Umesh Kumar, Air Officer – Commanding, 43 Wing – Sulur. Sarang display team Wing Commander Ravi Pathak also took part. The conference began at Air Force Station – Sulur on Monday. Air Marshal P. Kanakaraj, Air Officer – Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command, and Air Vice-Marshal C S Sohoni, Senior Maintenance Staff Officer of Southern Air Command, participated.
A wide range of issues regarding operation and maintenance of ALH were discussed.
