SAATH Forum runs propaganda against Pakistan at FATF

The virtual FATF plenary will be held in Paris from February 22 to 25 to consider cases of various countries on the grey list, including Pakistan, and a decision will be made at the conclusion of the meetings.
Outside the HQ of FATF, Indian sponosred SAATH Forum's founding member Taga Siddiqui organized a protest against Pakistan & running a smear campaign.
Purpose of this malicious campaign is to malign Pakistan at FATF & a targeted attempt to influence the decisions of FATF Reps.

a meeting was held at the Bar owned by Taha called 'The dissident Club'.

Media affiliated with Srivastava Group provided the coverage to this campaign

Those who were part of this malicious campaign were the usual suspects - BNM that has links with BLF & PHRC - PTM Council

I've just counted 13 protestors. Even more people turn up to protest against the Colombian government for their relations with Chile........................................these anti-Pakistani propagandists have hit an all-time low...............................

The only counter to this is similar campaign with 50 people and actually identifying these guys as fake actors - run smear against the purported leader and get him.
Unfortunately for Pakistan , doesn’t look like anyone has the leadership sense to do that. In this multi-facet warfare, Pakistan is a headless chicken like everywhere else.

Your 5yr old was not covered in the news nor has interests from the largest world powers. Optics is what matters and if anti-Pakistan actions are taken in FATF these staged pictures will be used as leverage in some way.

It isn’t about getting rid of the problem - no one knows their actual job and generally look to pass on the buck whenever there is the slightest hint of putting their spine on the line.
Just take the leader of this group, they probably had multiple chances to tackle the problem but by fear of backlash by whoever was incharge at the time.
because if there was backlash, then the bigger fish would blame this person and they don’t want that.
There are no shortcuts in today’s geopolitical scenario and Pakistani national character is shortcut.

They forget that this will be a FATF virtual meeting, with nobody present physically in Paris.

They could have done a virtual protest...but for the optics.

Now if the authorities were smart they would launch a full investigation into how a small fry journalist was able to afford the costs of moving and opening this den of degeneracy in one of the most expensive cities in the world.

The reconciliation doctrine will not work simply due to selective nature of its application.

The human rights atrocities undertaken by tribal leaders to subjugate the masses cannot be left for political appeasment. The application of constitutional justice in letter and spirit is imperative for the progress of the nation.

Economic terrorism has not been addressed by FATF and that is a reason enough to throw this committee taskforce to the shredder.
