Obviously a Russian citizen(or European/American or even Chinese for that matter) being killed mercilessly in Syria will always garner/attract far more world attention than an unnamed/unknown Syrian civilian. It might sound harsh but that's life. Nothing you or anybody else can do about it
Moreover, horrible things always happen in wars, just like some western soldiers bodies were also mutilated and even hanged on ropes in public roads in Iraq by islamists militants terror groups fighting U.S ,British and Western forces after Saddam was toppled, these Islamist groups were financed and supported by none other than Syria's Assad (and his Iranian patrons )back then, since according to them they were fighting a righteous war against Western imperialist. Lol. Nobody is holy in this middle Eastern quagmire. So to each his own.
