Russia's biggest military drills kick off, 3,200 Chinese soldiers involved

.
The scenario is an enemy force invaded Russia and days after Chinese troops joined the Russians to push the invading enemy force out, who is that enemy invading force strong enough to invade Russia?

. .
Not new to us, we helped North Korea to push back "an invading force" before.

Russia kicks off biggest war games in decades, amid tensions

MOSCOW -- Russia's largest war games in recent history have kicked off in the Far East.

The Defence Ministry said in a statement Tuesday that the largest military drills since the end of the Cold War will involve about 36,000 tanks and 300,000 troops at sea and on the ground.

China is sending 3,200 troops to take part in the Vostok 2018 exercises later this week.

The war games are held a year after Russia staged major drills in the country's west last September, unnerving neighbouring former Soviet republics.

NATO and European governments are eyeing the exercises closely, watching to see what they reveal about military co-operation between Russia and China, and their mounting military might.

China+Russia, an unbeatable force.

China+Russia, an unbeatable force.

This military exercise is HUGE. Russia will never do such an exercise UNLESS something big was coming. These are concerning times specially with the tensions in Syria.

.
Without US protection, Russians alone can finish that in a couple of weeks.

This is how Hitler used to think and this led to his demise. Obviously you are a poor chess player. How long did take just to teach Georgia a lesson? How long did it take to bring poorly armed Chechnya under control? Do you really think those European nations are like Georgia and Chechnya?

It's different between fighting an all out war and policing military intervention, US lost in Vietnam and Soviets lost in Afghanistan, not because those two countries are stronger than US and USSR, the latters never tried to fight those wars with their full might like they did in WWII.

They fought with full might it's just that they had limits to what they could do because they had rivals of equal strength and this is the reality. So why do you talk like an immature fan boy? Face it, Russia will never dare to invade Europe because the consequence is simply mind boggling.

This training seems like an invasion/offensive excersie, not defensive.

When did I say that Russia will invade Europe? It's just a hypothesis that many war games based on, if that happened, Russia can finish it fairly fast, Europe is very fragmental now.

War games are based on reality and reality says any invasion of Europe by Russia will end up like Hitler's Operation Barbarossa.
