It seems , Russians have old connection to regions of Kiev
And they have had historic rivalries vs Lithuanians and Polish

I did not had too much info on why the region of Ukraine had any significance or not , however it seems , just like Turkey's ancestral lands are around Syria , Russians old history is tied to the region of Ukraine.

This explains why Putin has interest in retaking the Ukrainian Land

Since year 900 AD , Russians have been at war with various members in region Lithuanians / Polish


The Rivalry also extends to Catholicism influencing Lithuanians / Polish
while in Russia there is Orthodox Christianity


Suprisingly in Pakistan the old ancient name of Russia (Rus) is still used today
However many folks don't know why Russia or USSR was called (Rus) as we typically do not study European History and specially not history between 1 AD to 1900 AD

Russia today occupies one of largest Land mass , for most Pakistani , we don't have a much historic background of Russia ,how it formed what happened to it's initial Kingdom

What kind of transitions the country went thru

So certainly very informative knowledge video.

Don't necessarily mean it encourages any country to attack another country

However the present age conflict is a repeat of past conflicts which have happened in region with passage of every Generation it happens very 50-85 years in region
