As I assume this refers to Arab Sunni's, Arab 'moderate' Sunni's don't like Turkey's leadership and the only such unity would come under banner of Islam. There is no way nationalist Turks, Arabs, and Iranians could unite under a non-Islamic cause.

You are right about Iran but he was also talking about Turan with the Turkic states which is possible.

3. I think hostility between Turkey and Russia won't be good for either party. They should work together for mutual benefit. Russia's population is declining. Turkic people's population in growing. Both parties can benefit.

Basically, he predicts(fear) that Azerbaijanis gain power again in Iran using their big population, and get united with Turkey, and Central Asia, and make the united Turan, and became allies with Pakistan, and make a half of billion union with abundant energy resources and access to Russian arm technology. well, it is not far fetched.

A lot of things can change in 30 year frame. Just imagine you are 30 years back in time and try to imagine the things of today. It is hard to say but I think eventually Azeri in Iran will get the upper hand which will be good for Turkey.

This was also historical the case. Azeri or Turkic peoples may it be Seljuk or others ruled Iran for 1000 years without interuption. It is matter of time it will happen again. History repeats itself.

I agree with most things that he says but I don't agree Russia and Turkey need to be enemies. A growing Turkic power won't harm Russia because we will respect their sensitives. This particular politician doesn't understand that but luckily Putin understands it.

Well, we had the upper hand in Iran for more than half a millennium, until the british coup against Qajars, which led to Reza Palani and mullahs dynasties. Still, we hold big portion of Iran's economy, and have a big population. So, they fear if we topple the incapable Iranian regime and get the upper hand again.

If you remember, we had a talk about it, and I told you how Russians kept their share in Russia population by bringing Russians of Kazakhstan and Ukraine to Russia. But, this process can no longer be continued since most of them are already brought back to Russia. while population growth rate reaches to 4% in some regions of north caucasus and is a big number in turkic areas, it is negative in most Russian inhabiting areas. They are very afraid of that.

As far as I know there aren't big troubles between Russia and Turkic minorities. But as you pointed out. Ethnic Slav people are getting smaller each year. This might cause some friction betweent the two people but Russia is very open-minded country (unlike the Chinese). If they give enough religious and ethnic freedom I don't expect any problems. The only downside for Russia is that Turkic peoples will get more and more influence in Russia.

1. It doesn't matter if Turkey is in NATO. Turkey should create good relations with Russia. It will benefit both countries.
2. I think he is right why Europe is not accepting Turkey in EU. It can be because of history.
3. All the Islamic countries are not going to be in union under Turkey. Ottoman is not coming back. He is wrong on this. But what we Muslim countries should do is to cooperate with each other, no matter what you are (Shia or Sunni).
