When will the 4 desdroyers be commissioned????????? In 5 years or 10 years??

They are offering this...

Project 21956 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Because P15B to be completed by 2020?

By 2020 - 25 the Indian Navy surface combatant fleet will be

3 carriers
10 destroyers [ 3 Delhi + 3 Kolkata 15A + 4 Project 15B]
24 frigates [9 Krivak + 3 Brahmaputra + 3 Shivalik + 7 Project 17A + 2 Project 17B]
20 Corvettes [ includes 12 Project 28 and 28A ]
There could be as many as 34 submarines in total by 2020, while the Kilo's and 209's will be retired before 2025
3 ATV SSBN
3 ATV SSGN/SSN
2 Akula II improved
6 U214 / S-80 / Marlin / Amur 1850 (Procurement under discussion)
6 Scorpene
10 Kilo Improved
4 U-209
In the FORCE November 2008 issue the Controller of Warship Production and Acquisition stated "a total of 7 destroyers, 13 frigates..." as the major warship construction that would have been accomplished by 2022. That would indicate (3 P15A + 4 P15B} destroyers and {3 Krivaks + 3 P17 + 7 P17A} frigates. Interviews of senior Indian navy officials in the December 2008 issue of FORCE talk of future warship construction projects, with the seven Project 15B DDGs and seven Project 17A FFGs clealy identified. The Improved Krivaks are of imported origin and do not form part of the domestic warship construction package. That still leaves a shortfall of six yet-to-be-built FFGs and this void is to be filled by an additional 3 Project 1135.6 FFGs to add to the six, plus ordering an additional three more Project 17 FFGs as a Batch 2 package.

That's a bit too optimistic and looks more like 2030 scenario

we will have 3 Carriers for sure
Destroyers too should be 10
Frigates - 9 Talwar, 3 Brahmaputra, 3 Shivalik, 7 P-17A , dats a total of 22, their is no P-17B , and even if it was , ships will be delivered in 2030, not 2025
As far as corvettes are concerned, I Don't see more than 8 P-28/28A in service by 2025 , They could be backed by 4 Kora class and 4 Veer Class

As far as FAC and OPVs are concerned , I expect the number to remain around 30 with The 9 SARYU Class OPVs being the only major induction

In the Submarine Department
I only expect 6 Scorpene class, possibly 4 Arihant class in service along with last 2 Kilo Class and possibly 2 U214/AMUR

While Amphibious assault Fleet should get a major Philip thanks to induction of 4 LPD/LHDs to complement 3 Shardul class and 1 Magar Class , Their is also a chance that we will see 1-2 next gen LSTs in service which are meant to replace the Magar class ships

all 14 diesel electric subs will remain, as they are being upgraded.

MLU adds only 10 yrs to service life

ie life increase from 25 to 35 yrs

in 2025
barring last 2 Kilo class and the last 2 U209 Subs , rest would have completed their 35 yrs in service and hence would be retired
I didn't include U209 in my calculation coz these will only remain in service if P-75I gets delayed
