1.AFfoirdable and reliable access to Oil and gas
2. Political cover in the UN
3. Weapons supplier, to diversify from US
4.Facilitator of regional connecitvity - such as guaranteeing IP/IPI pipeline

So why should Pakistan care about Russia?

1. To diversify power and financial support structures in the multipolarizing world
2. Affordable and reliable access to oil and gas
3. Not put all "eggs in one basket".
