Russia-Ukraine War - News and Developments PART 2

Hahaha, so true. It's always been Russia and it's amazing SAM technology that was helping underdogs like Vietnam go up against the world's greatest superpower as well as the family of SA-2/3/6 etc. in all the Arab/Israeli wars. The war of attrition in particular, followed by the Yom Kippur war and how the SA-3s, SA-6 and SA-2s altered the shape of the battlefield in a historical sense. Since then there has also been the families of BUK/TOR & Pantsir etc.

The Soviet Union along with Russia ushering in the next stage of SAMs in the S-300/400 variants and beyond have influenced the shape of battlefields unlike any other entity.

The Patriot PAC 3 never really set its foot or made a good enough impression to even compete against Russian SAMs. Now it seems like the Germans have set their foot in and have started inching their way into sharing the limelight with you fellas with their IRIS-T-SL system.
Living in the romantic past from 50 years ago still? Let me refresh:
1. Serbia 2x in the 90s
2. Iraq 1991
3. Syria current day

All networked by Russian / Soviet AA missiles. For 1 and 2, SAMs were worthless and provided little opposition to US and other aircraft.

And Syria, current day, Israel flies over Syria and attacks selective targets when it feels like. There have been a dozen air strikes in the last 18 months, how many times have you seen Israeli wreckage.

I am not an Israel supporter or proud of what they do, but burying your head in the sand is stupidity.

Europeans have had enough of this ridiculous war and the Clown of Kiev who has taken everyone for a ride, earning Billions killing to the last Ukrainian.

Democracy lesson 1-1 since now sure which rock you live under:
1. Protester is a common attribute of democracy.
2. Policy does not change because a few 100 people demonstrate.
3. When it really changes , it does when the make up of parliament and elected Government changes and they change policy.

When that happens , yes war and support will stop. Thats possible in a year, by then, Russia will be more economically backward , its rouble devalued another 30%, and oil export curtailed by Black Sea being cut off.

Till then, if you want to feel optimistic and good about yourself, stick to amateur name calling and following Russian only Twitter feeds

.
you are such an excuse manufacturer

by looking at how they've performed against the Russian airforce over Ukraine? they either get knocked out quick or run out of ammunition (or do Ukrainian soldiers steal them or alot of it just cant get to the frontlines due to dead Ukrainian transportation logistics including poor electricity supply?)

theyt were doing ok initially but now they arent doing well, Ukrainians are just lied to by the Gestapo Neo-nazi UKrainian state that lies to them constantly..plus that Patriot 3 system that was meant to "protect Kiev" got fried within a few months of being deployed, pathetic.

maybe not too well, because you just imagine these unrealistic fantasy scenarios, but why wont Russia do well considering it has the best air defense skills and technology in the world? if any country will handle this sort of saturation attack well, its probably Russia. THese mass drone attacks on Moscow that you get wet dreams from are actually one of the reasons Russia doesnt want Ukraine to join NATO or/and for NATO to get closer to Russia's borders- because of this exact threat to Russia that this poses- you just justified the war for Russia.

If Ukraine is all out of SAM's or have lost them why isn't Russia using it's airforce? Fact is that Russian fighter jets generally stay away from frontlines because they would be shot down.

Serbia had Vietnam war era SAMs, and in nowhere comparable quantity to what both Ukraine and Russia field.

Iraq similarly had fought with 1st and 2nd generation SAMs at most. Syria had 2nd gen SAMs, but like only 2 batteries, which were taken out by Israel at a first opportunity.

That vs.40-50+ SAM batteries on both sides of the war in Ukraine.

Now we see a situation where close range SAMs are getting depleted on both sides, and long range S300PS on both sides are trying to take up their duties.

I would argue that Russia has no truly 4th generation SAM, but they indeed have the raw range leadership with their latest missiles, which were never manufactured in sufficient quantities. Most of what they shoot from their S300s these days is 5V55U missile.

Russia's most interesting missile is Russian-Korean S350, and the only one with 4th generation claim. Much smaller launches can pack whoping 12 missiles, with 100km+ range, more than enough to defend forces on the move from cheap PGM saturation attack.

I see not why this drones would not be able to carry something like that , though with 300kg I would expect this two ships atatcked last week , to sink , not be towed to harbor.
that torpedo explode under the ship , the drone explode beside it .

Russia attempts to destroy Storm Shadow warehouses.....

>> Storm shadows are starting to really hurt Russia it seems. Results of attack not known - but if they were successful - we would have heard about them by now. It is unlikely the Storm Shadows are all stored at the airbase but more likely underground at safe locations - they are way to important to be at the airbase itself and most likely bought in from discrete safe locations, when they are needed for strikes.
Its unlikely Russia has any intel this deep inside Ukraine. They just spray and pray at known stationary targets.

They have tons of collaborators. They had 20 years to plant them after all. Russia had literally thousands of spies in Ukraine.

They had. Collaborators was the only reason they managed to capture parts of southern Ukraine. Collaborators is the only real source of intel the russians have this deep inside Ukraine. The ukrainians know and have had 1,5 years to clean house.
They could basically store those missiles on a truck and move it a few hundred meters a couple of times a day and the russians would have zero chance destroying them.

Possible Storm Shadow attack Chonhar Bridge

Some say Henichesk bridge because of gas leak

Only the 3rd army sector south of the lakes. The larger 2nd army from the Bitter Lakes all the way north to Port Said pushed back and repelled the Israelis and even almost killed Sharon. They held the enemy back all throughout the war and then some. There were no enemy intrusions through the 2nd army.
It was hit during the gap..but a week later it got bigger, stronger and deeper.. they couldn't defend their troops stuck in the gap anymore..they were sitting ducks..

You know,it's disappointing to see a country like Russia, who had been talking so much about their AA systems and radars and EW stuff for years,to be attacked by UAVs in Moscow. How did they cross all this distance from Ukraine to Moscow undetected? It's so disappointing.
