But it hasnt reduced the effectiveness of the Russian army's rocket artillery operations in Ukraine. Russia obviously either has large stocks of these weapons, or has successfully ramped up production of them.
Not as much as it was before- we know Russian ADs have gotten better and better at intercepting these expensive HIMARS shells- obv US cant keep supplying too many of them for much longer if they just get destroyed in the rear end ammunition dumps that the Russian army seems good at finding. HIMARS shells are VERY expensive, so they are cost prohibitive in this war, and definitely so with their interception rates increasing. But in general HIMARS is a deadly weapons, sure, Russia will obviously not intercept every one succesfully- Russia taking losses in equipment from HIMARS is also just part of the war, but the question is how do these losses affect overall performance in the war in Ukraine? you focus on one weapon like HIMARS, which is a small distractionary part of the big picture, while Ukraine is actually losing the war and probably wont have a military that can function normally in 5-8 months.
Then why is US afraid to send its M1 tanks into the Ukrainian frontlines? In the Ukraine war, its score is 0/100, this M1 tank you keep describing doesnt matter at all if it doesnt show up in the UKrainian battlefield- whats this vaunted M1scared of?
