Russia to provide 4 Mi-35 ‘Hind E’ helicopters to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Russian Ambassador Alexey Dedov has said that his country will provide four Mi-35 ‘Hind E’ helicopters to Pakistan.

Addressing a seminar here on Thursday, Alexey Dedov said an agreement was singed last year and now technical modalities were being finalised for the provision of these helicopters, adding that it would enhance Pakistan’s capability in combating terrorism.

The ambassador said both the countries enjoy good relation, and expressed hope these will further be strengthened with the passage of time.

Mi35 as transport gunship for carrying and supporting Special forces.
EC Fenneck is light gunships for escort mission and convoy protection etc etc

2016 is year of delivery of these gunships.
Let's see. Hopefully by end of this year we will see them in our colors.......

That WZ-10 is actually Z-10 as for MI-35 HIND they are coming for Special Forces and Cobra will be retired soon.

For Attack Helicopter we have only one platform Cobra and Viper is a upgraded version.
IAR is unarmed passenger transport version same the Fennec.
WZ-10 only on trials for China to study war capability.
Mi-35 Hind is totally a different kindly of chopper Attack plus can carry troops for special OPS only probably only SSG will use them (04 on order).

Cobra will be retired soon.

Viper is also a Cobra version and no Sir during Musharaf era we got new Cobras which are not going to retire next ten years.
