As for Pashtuns, you are definitely wrong, the ones you mentioned are mostly restricted to the tribal areas but if you go to the main centres, you'll find they are patriotic. So it's wrong to brandish all of them like that.

But yes, generally ethno-nationalism is rife, I think the Punjabis are the most accommodating.

That’s not a random article rather a real fact. Stick with your comparison in Bangladesh and Pakistan only.

Bangladeshis are changing food habit, life style and rising income has contributed to the increase of height. In city and well off families (middle class and above) average height of young population is 5’7 and higher. It’s just the older generation which has average or below average height not giving the full picture.

Children of Bangladesh are getting taller it’s a fact for the above mentioned reason.

For Pakistan’s decrease in height happened not because of foreigner rather for poverty and malnutrition mostly.

In UK mostly poor farmers went of Bengali origin but I can bet their height is much higher than their older generation. Next generation will increase further. The average is not below 5’6 or 5’7 now.

Similarly it’s not true all Pakistanis are 5’10.

I am close to 6’ and hardly find Pakistanis who are taller than me. Majority are 5’6 to 5’8. Only few Pakistanis are above 6’ that’s unlikely more than 20% of population group.

most my family is around 6ft or taller, most Pakistanis I’ve seen in London are 5ft8 average, I had friends who are 6ft4-5. So clearly your living in some ancient place.
secondly, that is a random article, you can go to Pakistan and see for yourself most Pakistanis are even taller than 5ft6, I personally think that’s in the lower side. Like I said, show me proof, you show me one article and say look Pakistanis getting shorter Bengali’s taller, sadly that’s not true. 2019 study even double downed on that. A few taller Bengali’s does not make the rest taller. Being taller depends on your genes, all this nutrition helps to only a certain extend. You say developing makes you taller, can you refute my claim of Japan still having a small average despite being developed.
