Russia part of Syria buys S-300PM2 and gets ex Russia army S-300P for free

S-300PM2 (SA-20 Gargoyle) entered service with Russia army in the 2000s, has same radar as S-400 AKA S-300PM3 (SA-21 Growler). Range 250 km. Still equipping Russia army. Replaced S-300P (SA-10) which entered service in the early 1980s.
