If they were to comply they will have to withdraw from 3 Baltic states, Poland, Finland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine

US meddling in Ukraine is like poking a land mine , it could blow up at anytime and the consequence could be disastrous for all those around. Further division of Ukraine will be the most likely outcome after a bloody war. It could irk the members of the Russian federation some of whom may cower and be more submissive and others who may stand up to weakened mighty Russia for full blown independence. How this game is played will have long term ramifications for the whole region and NATO. NATO has been humiliated by the Afghans and a drumming by Russia will put NATO to rest perhaps permanently.
