Russia intends to deploy strategic bombers and nuclear weapon

The Russian power plans to place in the Crimea carriers of the tactical nuclear weapon, including strategic bombers «Tu - 22M3» and quickly - tactical missile systems «Iskander - M».
Congressmen of the USA reported about it in the letter to the president Barack Obama, writes Russian newspaper «Kommersant».
Legislators claim that else at the beginning of August the Russian power made the decision on transfer to the Crimea of bombers «Tu - 22M3» and complexes «Iskander - M» , capable in the long term to strike blows with high-precision P-500 cruise missiles, including with nuclear warheads. The last, according to the member of the committee for armed forces of the Senate of the USA James Inofe, is direct breach of contract about elimination of rockets of average and small range, the signed USSR in 1987.
- Placement of the nuclear weapon in the sovereign territory of other state without its consent is the cruel and cynical decision, - it is told in the letter. - It will allow Russia to come nearer closely to bases of NATO, having received military superiority in the region.
Besides, illegal actions of Russian government, according to Congressmen, is gross violation of the agreement between the Russian Federation and NATO signed in 1997 and allows the Russian military representatives to be on bases and objects of alliance.
Legislators demand reciprocal actions from the U.S. President, in particular, suggest to stop completely all contacts between members of military alliance and Moscow, and also to remove the Russian military personnel «from bases and objects of NATO». They also suggested to forbid in Russia carrying out inspection flights within the contract about «open sky».
As reported to the edition a source in the Russian General Staff, the decision on placement of a sea missile-carrying aviaregiment with the Tu bombers - 22M3 in Guards is made, however finally process has to be complete only in 2016.
