Junior Think Tank Group's Operating Rules.

Joining/Leaving:

1) Joining requirements.

A user needs to have good reputation, debate skills and creditable knowledge/sources. Since the Private Messaging option is disabled for majority of the Forum users, I would create a thread where everyone is welcomed to post the names of the users they expect to see in this group. To join, I've changed the previous 'Three votes'to 'Eight Votes' in order to maintain the quality of users in this group.

2) Leaving criteria.

  • Any user who feels uncomfortable being a part of Junior Think Tank Group can leave on his own, by requesting (then) leaders of the group.
  • If a person is found with repeated violations of the forum rules or posts of low quality and lack of evidence, or if the forum is not satisfied with his work, he would be asked to quit after a poll, in which at least Ten Votes should favor his resignation including at least one vote of (then) group leaders.

Posting:

1) Be professional.

You are the bridge between Elite Think Tanks of the forum and the general users and expected to maintain the professionalism.

You are all expected to show maturity and sanity in your posts, and discussions, even if your are widely targeted for any of your post. Keep a cool and calm mind, and with strong words, prove your argument right. Moreover, you are expected to post
deep analytic data on topics, which would not only help the Junior Think Tank Group, but all the user database of this forum.

2) Have strong and creditable evidence.

Many people on the forum, including those in this group, have claimed to have inside sources who feed you the updates. However, often we have clashes where one person's officer friend says otherwise than second person's officer friend. You need to have enough evidence and creditably in your posts (may I add here, you not always need to mention about your sources in every post)and you shall gain more reputation, which means your posts would be trusted for granted.

3) Believe in Quality, not Quantity.

While being in arguments on any Forum, believe me the above motto. To win any argument, you need to have Qualitative superiority over
Quantitative superiority.

4) Fill in the gap.

Many a times the general users require help from knowledgeable and sane users. This is our basic job, to help clear their queries,

as the Think Tanks are not expected to be available always. You have been entrusted with this title and expected to carry out your job with enthusiasm.

5) Team-work.

You do not stand alone in your arguments. If you are right in your stand, and require back up to aid you with more knowledge on the issue, then members of the group are to help you with it. Furthermore, you can write strong articles on certain topics which would sell as hot pancakes in the mass e-Media, gathering relevant data from other members. Such kind of approach are widely appreciated.

Permissions:

1) PM option available.

I would request the Administration to enable the PM options for all Junior Think Tank Group members, and after Moderation team, to enable all users to send PM to the leaders of this group for complaints, suggestions or queries.

2) Access to special forum available.

There is a special forum available for the users of this group. It serves not only as a place where everyone comes to socialize, but discuss topics which are, are you feel, not suitable for open discussions due to the sensitivity and nature of the subject. You are also motivated to post links and make this as central for all users, as reference.

Thank you.
The rules and regulations would further be amended as per the feedback.

Last Hope.
Chairman Junior Think Tank Group.
