I support bringing in Rohingahs to BD, in fact bring all of them. My country is their country.

We will secure our borders, which should stop these incidents in the future, but handing anyone over would mean that we tacitly legitimise this regime.

I agree with your assessment on increasing Chinese influence in Bangladesh.

Currently we are stuck with these political parties, one is incompetent and the other India's puppet. The goal should be to increase Chinese influence in both of these political parties and minimize Indian influence. Hasina's idiocy will hamper that process within Awami League, but I don't think she can stop it totally as she is getting older and I doubt Joy will have this level of acceptance among Bangladeshi masses.

Ideally for Bangladeshi people, all functioning political parties in Bangladesh should slowly and surely move towards and eventually go under Chinese umbrella and stay there for the foreseeable future. While staying within this umbrella, they can do their rivalry sh!t and hopefully China will be able to exert their benevolent influence on these parties and make sure that their fight stay within bounds of civility and not get bloody and messy like they are today.

1.Genocide of Arakanese Muslims has been going on since WW II when Gen Ne Win was appointed governor by the Japanese occupation forces. Thousands of Muslim refugees had to be housed by the British administration throughout Bengal.

2. It is most unfortunate that the world has ignored the blood bath going on ever since. This is worse - much worse than the Cambodian Muslim situation. The world never learnt that over half the Cambodian Muslims were hacked to death by the Khmer Ruge in the killing fields. In Arakan from an original 80% population the Muslims now account for less than 50%Even they have been relocated elsewhere in Burma. Today there is hardly any country in the world that does not host Rohingya refugees.
