We launched PIK high-flux research nuclear reactor of 100-MW thermal power, the neutron flux of more than 1015 n/cm2s. It is 1 of 6 MegaScience projects in Russia. PIK is for research in nuclear and radiation physics, chemistry, engineering issues.

Also: If i would have the hat on in Germany, one of the first things i would buy from Russia would be two or three BN-1200 to solve our atomic waste and energy problems. When it comes to fission reactors, today Russia is the first to ask for. Germany has lost its top knowledge and practical experience in this field due to green idiots in the last three decades.
