The 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed has claimed that India is trying to stall and disrupt the multi-billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
According to reports, Saeed was speaking at an award distribution ceremony in Peshawar, He reportedly alleged that Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) of India has formed a special cell to disrupt the CPEC project. (Another BABY (Film) project??)
He also reportedly pleaded to the Pakistan government to report this matter to UN Security Council as it was of serious concern. .
He further added that India can never see Pakistan as a strong and developed country, reports said.
In April 2015, the two countries had signed an agreement for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that will link China's underdeveloped far-western region to Pakistan's Gwadar deep-sea port on the Arabian Sea via Azad Kashmir through a massive and complex network of roads, railways, business zones, energy schemes and pipelines.
China had then downplayed India's concerns on the 3,000-km corridor that passes through Azad Kashmir (Azad Kashmir), saying that it is a commercial project.
Saeed, Lashkar-e-Toiba founder, is the mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and one of the most wanted persons in India.
Earlier, speaking at a rally in Peshawar, which was attended by MPs of Nawaz Sharif's ruling PML(N), Saeed had called India 'the number one enemy'.
Saeed had also claimed that Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi is innocent, and had said India is trying to put pressure on Pakistan through the UN and the US to punish him for the 2008 Mumbai attack.
Meanwhile, India is planning to ask Pakistan to seize assets of fugitive most wanted terrorists Hafiz Saeed along with Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim as all three are in the UNSC's al Qaeda sanctions list which makes it incumbent upon Islamabad to freeze their holdings.
