The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, India's leading Hindu cultural group, has developed Gau Jal or Cow Water, at its research centre in the Indian holy city of Haridwar on the River Ganges, and hopes it will be marketed as a 'healthy' alternative to Coke and Pepsi.
Hindus worship cows for their life-sustaining dairy products, but many also consume bovine urine and faeces in drinks and spice mixes for their "health-giving" properties.
In some Indian states, cow dung and urine are sold in regular dairy shops alongside milk and yogurt, and "ayurvedic" Indian health food companies make porridge, toothpaste and tonic drinks which claim to cure ailments ranging from liver complaints to diabetes and cancer. The urine is also believed to have disinfectant properties while the dung is used in many Indian village huts as a clean and antiseptic flooring.
Now, the RSS's Cow Protection Department has invented a new urine-based soft drink it hopes will promote its health-giving properties to a wider market. "We refer to gau ark (cow urine) as gau jal (cow water) as it has immense potential to cure various diseases. We have developed a soft drink formula with gau jal as the base and it has been sent to a laboratory at Lucknow for testing," said director Om Prakash.
His team is now focusing on packaging, marketing, and of course preservation to stop its curative drink from going whiffy in the summer heat.

"It will be a revolution of sorts. The acceptance of cow urine as a potent medicine is increasing day by day and once it comes as a cold drink, its demand will definitely increase. It will prove and justify the high stature accorded to a cow in Indian culture." he added.

India makes cola from cow urine - Telegraph

A nation that has filth in her ideology and culture can never clean herself no matter how many toilets are built or sacred water from Mars is brought.

RSS is bringing out the reality of Hinduism faster than expected well done .

So what if they do that!!!!!! Its non of our business. Arabs drink camal urine and eat lizards, we don't care. Why are we objecting on their culture.
There are things which disgust other people but we do that like eating goats testicles. So posts like these should be disallowed

You’re a class act Sir. I’ve read several of your posts and you’re one of the few Pakistani posters that shows grace and pragmatism.
I hope members from both sides take notes from your attitude.
Hope for a lot more people like you on both sides and we can aim to reduce the “enemity” between the countries.

This camel urine drinking happened only once in early days of Islam and after this never happened in Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) and Sahabah R.A times so it is not part of Islamic teachings

I will try to be (a bit) fair here and not just troll (too much) for the sake of it. I can comprehend the consumption of any creature, and perhaps I can extend that comprehension to the consumption of any viable (I.e. not decomposed in any way) anatomical part of any creature.....

Recycling one's own urine is also a good emergency step to take temporarily in a case of extreme dehydration without access to fresh water.

BUT I must logically draw a line at the regular and/or commercialised consumption of an unaltered or even minimally altered genuine waste product.

This doesn't seem to be - from the pictures - some kind of extraction of residual nutrients from excreta, which would perhaps be similar to a fertiliser type of product. Rather it is just drinking peepee with perhaps a few chemical preservatives added. This is madness surely. These products are excreted or expelled from the body for a reason. Their build up and concentration can actually be poisonous, let alone physically disgusting. We as humans have the instinctive ability to feel disgust for a good reason. Avoiding the drinking of urine is instinctive behaviour. At some point in history, this sense of disgust would have naturally selected against the survival of some ancestors who thought drinking concentrated nitrous waste was a good idea.

This modern ayurvedic nonsense risks reversing those hard fought evolutionary gains.

Semen doesn't contain concentrated waste products that in small amounts are pretty much useless and in large amounts are poisonous, so I don't see how it can be compared to urine.

This is common problem and question which is asked from Islamic scholars by people about oral sexual relationship and many videos are available on youtube regarding this topic
