Rich Pakistanis Among World's Top Nationalities Migrating Abroad

But how does that prove that corruption has increased exponentially under Imran Khan and PTI as per your initial claims?

I stand by my claim... and if Imran Khan's argument is not enough to prove than refer to the report of transparency international report.

.
Good God that’s shocking.
I can probably write multiple books on my first-hand corruption accounts in Pakistan. From Union councils to Project Management Unit - (PMU) at provincial levels to Local Government offices (LG&CD) all the way how minister pull strings to appoint favorite bureaucrats as DG's and Secretaries of their respective ministries to how one night before the award of the project all the Contractors, Minister, DG, Secretary meet where everything is finalized including the bidding price for each contract along with commission payment terms and these bids are sealed together and taken so that no party can back off and next day a drama is staged for the rest, where these sealed bids are opened in front of everyone for transparency. (This is just stage 1)

I have even witnessed these so-called standing committees of the parliament and what absolute non-sense is done at the expense of taxpayers' money and eventually how the PM and Presidency operate depending on where the power is in that tenure (Read: Zardari, NS). Over a course of few years, I had the opportunity to very closely experience how the Governments in Pakistan operate and how it is rotten to the core. It is the only reason that one fine day I decided this is not the country where I would like my kids and future generation to open their eyes and left for good.

More like corrupt goons trying to move abroad because they know they will be caught or wouldn't be able to do Corruption.. and dont start with arguement that rich in Pakistan are honest if they were we wouldn't have 3% people paying income tax..

Income tax is not fueling this country, while you cannot charge income tax on those having no income.

Case of Imran Khan is an example, most of his life he had no income, hence paid no income tax, until he become salaried member of parliament.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has paid almost Rs4.7 million tax in 37 years from 1981 to 2017

Quoting from one of of Imran Khan's rare tax declarations:

Suzuki Swift LHV 6350 (Gifted)
Land Cruiser 350,000

Anyone who can afford to escape will escape.
Thanks to the corruption of Imran Khan and the IMF brokers. The alliance and resulting corruption is so obvious that it's hard to avoid it.

Every construction award decided under dictatorship of Imran Khan has corruption written all over it.
Shame you can't afford it
Lmao hahahaha 😂😂

What's your point?

There are millions in Pakistan who can't afford it.... referencing back to OP, it's a matter of shame for the ruling mafia, who has turned it into a matter of survival for those who are neither part of Tiger Force and neither are extravagantly paid state official on extension.

My point is that you're obviously complaining because your masters left you behind as you are of insignificance. And you yourself can't afford to live the high life in London

PTI is a black opp to destroy Pakistan, they've hypnotised younger people or retards, the imbeciles can't give more than one liner answers.
transparency report is but one example of highlighting increased corruption.
Then theirs lack of governance, increased lawlessness. And the Ponce Imran Khan NIAZI
(individual who lives off immoral earnings) at the top of the Christmas tree.
The establishment should be taken to replaced by patriotic forces.

Surprise surprise. I don't want to hear anymore that Pakistanis are patriotic. Rich Pakistanis fleeing with large sums of money at a time when the economy is suffering. Bravo. Try taking out more than 10000 euros out of The Netherlands and the military police would take you in custody. What a shambles. You can judge the character of a nation when its citizens behave in such a reckless manner. Capital flight is the worst thing a country can suffer. I don't believe that rich and influential Pakistanis are patriotic at all. Huge sums of money is invested abroad in countries like Malaysia and UAE. Instead of investing this money in Pakistan the rich elite take their money out of the country and enrich other nations. What a disgusting set of people.

You wonder where rule of law is. Where are the authorities and leaders that are tasked with ensuring the economic well-being of Pakistan? IMF, FATF and others are pressuring the government to follow their ridiculous rules which are detrimental for the economy. The government tries to follow them by the letter. An expat is not allowed to deposit money into their banks in Pakistan. Here we are where the elite rich are backstabbing Pakistan and the very same Western nations are turning a blind eye and welcoming the thieves with open arms.

When is papa Nawazoo returning from his London hideout? That Panama scumbag has looted millions and probably even billions in Pakistan. He even wanted to sell Kashmir and entire Pakistan to Modi. Your papa wanted to become the sultan of Lahore. That swine Nawaz Sharif will be hung from K2. His corpse will be dragged and people will spit on his fat nihari body.

Rich Pakistanis ranked third in the world for making inquiries to migrate abroad last year, according to a report by Henley and Partners. High net worth individuals (HNWIs) from India topped the list of those seeking to migrate, followed by Americans and Pakistanis. Pakistan is among nations that experienced "significant wealth outflows" in 2019, according to Afrasia Bank. There has been a 25% increase in the number of HNWIs enquiring about citizenship-by-investment as opposed to residence-by-investment programs since the coronavirus was first reported nearly a year ago, indicating that wealthy international investors are considering a more permanent change.

In 2019, the UAE initiated a new system for investment-based long-term residence visa called Iqama. It enables foreigners to live, work and study in the UAE without the need of a national sponsor and with 100% ownership of their business on the UAE’s mainland. These visas are issued for 5 or 10 years and will be renewed automatically.

Several countries in Europe and the Caribbean are offering residency visas or a second passport and citizenship. Popular destinations include New Zealand, the Caribbean Islands, Portugal, Malta, Spain, Cyprus and Greece. Requirements for investment-based citizenship vary from country to country but is usually about 10 years of continuous residency. Some countries, like Greece, offer citizenship after a shorter period of 7 years. Others have no stay requirement at all. European Union (EU) member nations like Cyprus, Greece and Malta offer EU passports.

Many rich Pakistanis are continuing to flock to the United Kingdom. Recent US FinCEN (Financial Crime Enforcement Network) files show that the United Kingdom (UK) is the biggest global center for money laundering. An earlier report issued by the British Crime Agency put Pakistan among the world's top sources of money laundering in the United Kingdom.

FinCEN leaks represent just the tip of an iceberg. The leaked 2,100 FinCEN files covering $2 trillion worth of transactions that ICIJ (International Consortium of Investigative Journalists) and Buzzfeed reporters got their hands on represent just a small sliver of the roughly 12 million SARs FinCEN has received since 2011. Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has repeatedly raised the issue of the West's inaction in stopping the illicit flows of hard currencies from developing nations to the developed world. Money laundering and other financial crimes affect the economic roots of a nation like Pakistan and slow down its human and socioeconomic development.

Make a list of these people and snatch their Pakistani citizenship. They wanted to flee with their money. They shouldn't be allowed to return to Pakistan. Never. Scumbags.

The state even allows scumbags and traitors like Hussain Haqqani to renew their Pakistani passport. I don't expect anything good to happen here. It will be the same old weak response. Just caving in and not doing the right thing by setting examples.

I never use this word, but I will make an exception here. I hope UKIP beats such nasty Pakis up real good. Make their lives a misery. They have my full blessing. I just wish the absolute worst to such traitors.

My masters? left me behind... where?

I have paid so much parking violations in London, that any Londoner can live for an year on same amount. While you getting personal shows you are an immigrant with backward background, who's mental approach is limited to how other's live.

I think the correct title is "Corrupt Pakistanis Among World's Top Nationalities Migrating Abroad"...

Honest Rich Pakistani are staying put and making Pakistan great again!!!

It is interesting to know who these individuals are. Obviously the government already knows this. Hence Imran Khan's constant reminder to Western nations to crack down on illicit inflow of money.

I would be very curious to know which rich Pakistanis took their money to UK and other places. Name and shame these fvckers.

Hundi /Hawala business from GCC is well known form of money laundering, about which only Musharraf took serious and solid steps and beat it out by providing official channel to remit. First thing Zardari did after assuming power was to kill that infrastructure, where PMLN and PTI followed suite.

Pakistan as well is the biggest destination of smuggled Iranian oil products, which require payments worth $ billions, so yes, it does not require any science to establish that Pakistan is the grand castle of money laundering, unless Iranian oil tankers are simple gifts for Ali Zaidi.

Stop dragging Iran into this. This has to do with nasty rich Pakistani elites living and earning inside Pakistan smuggling their wealth out of the country. Read the article.
