When it comes to the development, PMLN has always been one step ahead whether it is Motor way, Initiative like Kala baag dam [rejected], Metro projects, Energy sectors, expansions of motor ways, and many more out there.
I remember when Musharraf took over the leadership of Pakistan, he left Punjab in ruin for many years. Punjab was basically in terrible state. It was PMLN who took over Punjab as Provincial government while Zardari was elected as federal government, and Punjab got better. From 2007 to 2013, PMLN works for Punjab has got them elected for the third time.
Now Nawaz Sharif is disqualified, it is natural to be concerned about the future government who will leave Punjab in ruin like Musharraf or take the present condition to better. That is something the future can tell.
I don't have high hope on Imran Khan because under his tenure, many investors ran away from KPK to Lahore and Karachi suggests Imran Khan might not be the man to convince investors to invest on. If he cannot control his own political party, then i doubt he can handle the complicated tasks lies ahead.
But if we let the democracy carry on, surely better alternative will pop up in no time. That is what i am counting on. Personally, i prefer Mustafa Kamal because of his developments in Karachi.
