Who do you believe could be behind this? Any parties in mind? Maybe Sisi regime wants to punish Tunisia for supporting Libyan opposition? Or party that wants to damage Tunisian economy. I don't believe for a second that this is ISIS inspired attack. There are parties with interest in these incidents. Unless you tell me otherwise, I won't believe anyone but Tunisians word.

There are claims there are hostages too...dunno if true

Get a grip you absolute oaf!

Terrorists have been targeting Tunisian security forces and politicians for years and now they have targeted foreigners and civilians, which is a logical escalation.

Little Tunisia has contributed the most fighters to ISIS and other groups operating in Syria from North Africa, yes more than Egypt (the most populous Arab and Muslim state in the region). Would a home grown attack really be that ridiculous? No.

This is new to me, calm your nuts you boob.

We can't rule out Egyptian regime as we've seen their involvement in Libya in killing Libyans.

With F-16s. Those Libyans also got a bit choppy choppy with some Egyptian citizens didn't they?

Anyway, most likely an ISIS returnee or AQM nutjob targeting foreign nationals in order to hamper tourism and sow chaos.

Don't want to get off topic, but security cooperation between Haftar/Egypt is mentioned publicly(not related to recent incident, prior). If this is indeed ISIS attack I don't see objective in this. Why would they target Tunisia?

The strikes by Algeria, Egypt, and UAE targeted Ansar Alsharia, AQ, and some more extreme militias that operate under the umbrella of Fajr Libya, which obviously irked Misrata. In the end they were not that effective as they were not prolonged nor did they tactically or strategically aid Haftar's forces or the LNA.

Official or quasi official Egyptian support for Haftar only started after his position as commander of the Libyan National Army was confirmed by the government sitting in Tobruk, before that he was like every other militia leader.

With most of these attacks there is no they. It is most likely a lone wolf attack, these attacks are unsophisticated, and therefore almost impossible to stop. Why, when, who, and how is usually determined by the individual carrying out the attack rather than the parent organisation (if there is one). Wait out for the details then maybe we can form a clearer picture.

Tunisians democrats...Do you really have to ask who is behind it? Just guess..
