After six years of chilly relations, Iran and Jordan have decided to exchange ambassadors this month, news outlets in the two countries reported this week.

The Islamic Republic appointed Mojtaba Ferdosipour as its new ambassador in Amman, while Jordan intends to name Ahmad al-Jawarnah as its new envoy to Iran, according to reports.

Ferdosipour is expected in Amman next week, the Iranian news agency Tasnim reported, citing other sources.

The diplomatic exchange follows a visit to Amman last month by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. He met with Jordan's King Abdullah, as well as the country's foreign and prime ministers, according to Al-Monitor.

The brief visit included a discussion of the Syrian civil war and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and Zarif expressed Iran's eagerness to work with Jordan on various regional and security issues, Al-Monitor reported.

Zarif, meanwhile, told German television on Monday that Iran would not rule out recognizing Israel after an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal.

"Once the Palestinian problem is solved, the conditions for an Iranian recognition of Israel will be possible," Zarif said, according to i24 News.

You seem to be posting a lot of Arab-Iran news? How should I interpret that?
But let us hope that the Iranian Mullah's will stop being a pariah state. The cunning business genes of us Arabs welcome any business partner as long as it is on mutual terms and beneficiary.

But which all due respect then this news of exchanging ambassadors is nearly not a thread worthy.

As opposed to all the threads you start?
Most of the threads you open are pointless and not news worthy.

Interpret it as me posting news that involves my country in one way or another. Simple as that.

The attention, replies, thanks, views and positive ratings they get say otherwise.

I thought that you did not care about the Arab world but all I see you do lately is making one Arab-Iran thread (pointless) after the other. But OK, just found it funny after your past comment about not caring.

Anyway let us see if Iran stops being a pariah state. It has lasted for 35 years now. Let us hope it ends before we reach 50 years.

@BLACKEAGLE The wannabe Arab Mullah's have exchanged an ambassador to another wannabe Arab Mullah.

I post news relating to Iran, and this relates to Iran. Simple. This thread is not about KSA.

All your threads are a big yawn btw.

I am not Safavid anymore i am arab socialist nationalist
That is a dead ideology. Among the Sunni Arabs republics, Islamists like the MB are very popular and are making a revival. They want to restore the Khilafah, we as Shia Safavids must do all in our power to prevent that.

Also, the only pariah states in the region are KSA and Israel.
Israel on the account of it being an apartheid state.

KSA because of enflaming the region in sectarian war, and spreading your backward Wahhabi school of thought, and meddling in the Middle East too much. lol

Maybe we are moving towards a new era where both sides will agree to not interfere in each other's affairs since the past decade it has demonstrated to is that it will get neither side anywhere. I would welcome something like that however don't see it occurring anytime soon unless the two sides meet together for their own benefit and not involve any foreign nations. While at it hopefully human rights and economic proposals and initiatives will increase as they already have been. :)
