“The nation which voluntarily gives away its freedom deserves to be treated as slaves” – Gazi Mustafa Kemal Pasha

As per the latest Turkish media reports Reis Erdo’an has evoked Misak-i Milli (national oath), upon which the Turkish Independence War was fought, in the case of Musul. In plain words, no stone will remain unturned to ensure the safety of ~2m people in Musul. The most ferocious and cruel Shia militias are mobilized for Musul operation. In the last Hutbe they have vowed to take revenge for Hazret-i Husein (RA), i.e., the bloodbath of the Sunni folks. By the by, Musul is the last Sunni city standing before the total capitulation. Iraqi Sunni Arab and Turkmen folks are left with nowhere to go. These are the harbinger of the final “Muslim vs Muslim” sectarian war which has the potential to spread all over the region. The mass exodus that will follow will dwarf the Syrian crisis. Turkey has no other option but to put a stop to this madness. La Galibe Illallah…

All alphabet soup proxies are in the cross-hair. Already large portions of lands have been cleared of ISIS. Further actions are on-going...

.
fall of Mosil is imminent because govt forces are much better equipped and organized as well as backed by most of world powers, its not about sunni or shiat ISIS has disgraced islam much more than any other fiction of islam

Understand before you reply, his worry is for the innocent civilians of Musul. The attack will kill many civilians while clearing it of ISIS, a lot of forums are raising the point of safety of civilians there. Musul had roughly 2 Million population.

:hitwall: Have you bothered looking at any news or just came here to troll like usual Indians? Musul has majority of Sunni Muslims, after ISIL and ISIS most of the people and almost all non-sunni has fled the area, so it's mostly Sunni population their now. if you have no depth of this topic then please leave this thread now.

:disagree:
Trust a Bharati to come to such a conclusion...
Have you only been reading Sir G Kal strike reports these last few months?
Syria: Turkish-backed rebels 'seize' Jarablus from ISIL
Syria war: Turkish-backed rebels seize Dabiq from ISIL
Erdogan says Turkey, US debating possible joint operation in Syria's Raqqa

They're going to liberate Mosul from ISIS before sectarian death squads arrive and slaughter half of the population.

Turkey is not invited by Iraq's government so you are absolutely non sense.
Sunni population of Mosul are in coordination with government and national volunteers to completely wipe out ISIS. May God help them all.

Erdogan/USA-NATO alliance tried to make this war firstly religious then a racial one in order to help ISIS to destabilize Iraq. In fact USA needed a good excuse for going back to Iraq But when they observed the reaction of Sunni people against ISIS, they exactly understood Iraqi people are wiser than their calculations. Poor USA and Erdogan. Poor poor guys :)
We will see peace and economical progress in all of Iraqi cities, Sunni or ShiA no difference, soon inshaallah.

Frankly, I don't see why the Iraqi government has the right to be able to choose who intervenes in Mosul when it had originally lost Mosul. I feel that Turkey is justified in an intervention since Iraq has been used as a launchpad for attacks by both the PKK and ISIS. If the Iraqi government didn't mismanage the country, it wouldn't be in this position.

Ah, if the folks on the ground could believe you!!! As if Syrian folks aren't slaughtered by Iranian backed militias en masse!! As if 85% of Iraqi army isn't from Shias!!! As if the cities aren't being systematically cleansed of Sunni folks!!!

That was not mismanagement my friend.
The fall of Iraqi cities into ISIS's hands was a planned accident. I have never blamed Turkish people coz they actualy know nothing of NATO's plans but Erdogan has a different story.

That's completely natural because Iraq's majority is Shia Muslims. It's army consists of Shia and Sunni Muslims where Shia Muslims are majority due to it's population.

Erdogan ofcourse isn't interested in Iraqi government that only exists and represents Shia's. He likes to have allies over foes as any rational. Especially on his corridor he wants stabilization in order to achieve peace and tranquility - which leads to sound business and mutual progression. Who likes bandits/rebels outside his home/country? It's not safe for you/fellow or your children/future.

Most sincere politics is held by Turkey, I wish Iran would think more along regional benefits instead of centralized benefits that only benefit its very own agenda.
