Record scenery in China

**I prefer traditional scenery.

In this thread I will post unique scenery in counties,cities even in village.

But I may not focus on high buildings,I will try to find nice angle.(Not focus doesn't mean not posting)

For example:

Palace in Hengdian(横店) town,Dongyang(东阳) city,Zhejiang(浙江) province

Mountain in Chengdu(成都) city(Chengdu,Sichuan-四川 province)

In order to prevent mistaking,such as mistaking wuxi(巫溪) county for wuxi(无锡) city,I sometimes will add its name using Chinese character.

崎岖的山峦，荒芜的平原和森林沼泽这些景色令人着迷，可是这些壮丽的自然景色很常见。但世界上有一些地方，其光陆离奇的景色正挑战这种简单的归类。这张照片所展现的是中国甘肃省张掖丹霞地貌地质公园，山岩中令人惊奇的色彩是红砂岩和矿物质经历了2千4百万年（风化）的结果。这个色彩斑斓的“千层饼”与喜马拉雅山脉地区同在一个板块结构。由风雨的冲蚀而形成这种超凡脱俗的景观。
Rugged mountains, arid plains andsylvan glades are lovely, but familiar examples ofnature's splendor. But there are eerilybeautiful places around the globe that defy suchsimple categorization. Here in the ZhangyeDanxia Landform Geological Park in Gansu Province, China, thestartling coloration in the rocks is the result of 24 million years worth ofred sandstone and mineral deposits. This brilliant 'layer cake' was thenbuckled by the same tectonic plates responsible for parts of the Himalayanmountains. Wind and rain carved the the result into this otherworldlylandscape.
