I once read an article about politics that was really inspiring.
It basically stated that no matter how good the leader of a country is, no one in his own country will appreciate his achievements before his death. No matter how hard he works, people will blame him for something.
It is only after his death that people realize how a great leader he was.
Now I mean no offence to turkish members in the forum, but, they are proving the above statements true.
IMO, Erdogan is a good leader. I don't say he is an angel, and I dislike many of his activities too, but I believe he is a very good leader, better than most after Ataturk.
But nevertheless every single person I met in this forum and most others outside the forum always complain about him, no matter what he and his party have achieved. They are also calling him names, like Sultan Erdogan. If necessary they are ready to argue that milk is black, if Erdogan says that it is white.
Now I believe today is a very good day. I am feeling pride, relief and extreme happiness for paying back the loan. But even now people are kinda blaming Erdogan. (leave the poor erdogan alone!!! ) I guess with more power comes more responsibility.
I even don't feel that I need to explain my arguments, because the reason is too obvious, Turkey is developing in all sectors (except some sectors like media freedom maybe) more than ever now. And that's enough for me to like Erdogan and his party.
I know many turkish members will not like this post of mine, but if you want to reply, please use reliable data with sources and reasonable comments. thanks in advance.
