We have seen multiple threads all over the forum on this, and all it boils down in exchange of insults on both sides.
Is there any realistic solution or middle ground to be found in this conflict?
And no unrealistic bombastic propaganda like one side needs to be wiped off the map coz if u use ur brain for once u'll know that nuclear powers are immune to such threats.
So what is a realistic solution to the problem that if not please anyone will atleast be acceptable to both sides.
Discuss?

. . . .
1: Lifting Blockade of Gaza
2: Disarmament of Hamas
3: International No fly zone over Gaza and West bank
4: UN international peacekeeping deployment in West Bank and Gaza
5: Return to 1967 peace deal borders.
6: An Independent, sovereign Palestinian state with E.Jerusalem as its capital.
7: Non aggression treaty.

Problems with ur solution, even if israel agree to other conditions it'll never give up jerusalem.
Second nothing in return for israel returning to 1967.So they'll be unwilling on that one probably too.

Deadlock:(

Israel becomes a state that contains a increasing number influential Arab-Israelis and somehow avoids any discriminatory policies that targets gentiles.

This would make any future Israel more amendable to a peace agreement.

Of course, this requires the ultra-orthodox jews to be pacified.

Here is what needs to happen:

1 - Israel needs to withdraw from all of the occupied territories including the West Bank and divide and share Jerusalem.
2 - Palestinians need to give up the right to return to Israel.
3 - Israel needs to build a tunnel linking Gaza with West Bank.
4 - Arab countries need to take up the responsibilities of protecting Palestine.
5 - Israel as a Jewish State needs to be accepted by the Arab World.

Proposed by Ehud Barak in camp david summit; Rejcted by arafat

4 - Arab countries need to take up the responsibilities of protecting Palestine.
West Bank under jordans occupation and gaza under Egypts occupation, did not give any rights, political recognition, or right to independence to palestinians.

5 - Israel as a Jewish State needs to be accepted by the Arab World.

It is already recognized but demonizing isreal is the easiest way for arab leaders to move focus from internal problems to Jeswish Boogieman Syndrome

During 1967 there were no political borders, these were the lines where iraqi, syrian and egyptian armies had ceased fighting. Those borders have no political significance.

I think your proposal is more suitable to both the parties...Anyway...I am just starting to understand middle east issue.....Its really very very complex.....

This problem could have been solved along time ago. Israel must annex Gaza and the West Bank. Its as simple as that. If the local population does not comply, expel them like Idi did to Indians. After the dust has settled peace will be restored. Arabs wont have an ace up their sleeves anymore.

Dividing and sharing Jerusalem is not happening and tunnel linking Gaza with West Bank is too much to ask for, other than these I believe you have hit the nail on the head

And what is Israel supposed to do with the million-plus Arabs who not only are citizens but comprise a solid block in Galilee? Expel those, too? On what grounds? I'm not so sure Israeli Jews would take their place...not so many are interested in farm or kibbutz work anymore.
