For the Posters and Thread Openers at Turkish Defence Forum:
This announcement purely aims to enforce the forum rules as well as offering members more freedom of speech within the mutual respect to others in a mannery way.
This announcement is based on the Forum Rules&Regulations of PDF. But in Turkish Section, we're required to publish some additional rules in order to enforce the forum rules in Turkish Section.
1- REGULAR RULES:
Turkish Section is a forum of PDF, which means there's no exception that, the all forum rules are also going for Turkish Section too.
WHAT CAN BE DISCUSSED IN TURKISH SECTION?
- All kinds of political, strategic, military, defence, affairs related topics are welcomed at Turkish Section as long as it fits the requirements such as forum rules.
TO DISCUSS, POST AND SHARE:
You should post under the forum rules that it does not include sarcasm, personal/nationality insults, racism, trolling and posts of no-value.
-Be aware that you open your thread/post at the right place or at the right sticky thread
2-WRITTING LANGUAGE:
-This is an International Defence Forum. Which means, English is the only allowed language on posts.
- But there is an exception for the thread named "Çay Bahçesi" which is the Off-Topic sticky thread of Turkish Section where members can freely discuss and talk about whatever they want except for politics and affairs. Use of Argo language is not allowed in that thread. Members are expected to post in Turkish, English or what language you want to use
THE TALK OF POLITICS/HISTORY/AFFAIRS:
Lately, the talk of the subjects given above were banned due to the low-activity share of defence news, and the unacceptable arguments caused by members. As for now,
-The talk of politics, affairs and history are allowed at sticky threads. You can post threads too.
- In the sticky POLITICS/HISTORY/AFFAIRS threads, if a member does not follow the forum rules, he or she will recieve further infraction/warning as naturally. But if that goes repeatedly, and if the member keeps violating the rules. That uses argo and insulting words, the member will not only recieve infractions. He will also recieve a thread ban from the sticky threads given above as well.
LAST, NOT LEAST:
-Whatever happens, don't quote trolls or respond to them. Push to the report button or call in a moderator.
- If you are insulted or if some member had convicted racism on you or any other bullying, it does not give you the right of responding to that person at the same tongue. Report the situation to moderators or push to the report button.
-If there's something, somebody or a thread is annoying you, or if you have a personal problem with the Turkish Moderator or any other moderator: Don't bring the issue on public threads. We have the General Headquarters forum for such situations. Go there or PM the issue to a senior moderator.
PRINCIPALS WE DO HAVE:
- Respect others views, values and demand that they respect yours.
-Don't post unacceptable, disrespectful content insulting the values of Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkish people and her cultural values. As well as it's goverment organisations and it's Armed Forces. This rule does not only apply for Turkey. For those who don't, will be shown no tolerance.
-SUPPORTING OR CONVICTING TERRORISM IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN, AS NOT ANY SINGLE TOLERANCE WILL BE SHOWN FOR IT.
-INSULTING THE MEMBERS OF TURKISH ARMED FORCES&LAW ENFORCEMENT IS NOT ALLOWED
-DISRESPECTFUL POSTS TOWARDS FALLEN TURKISH SERVICEMEN WILL FACE STRONG ACTION.
