I do not have direct links giving information about the exact military hardwares sent to Srilanka as it may upset Tamil People here .Just for your Information Srilankan Airforce uses Migs not JFs

My point is that the indians never gave the amount of weapons that the sri lankans needed to win.......it was always just enough weapons to just fight on until the next battle and then start asking the indians for more help and get deeper and deeper into debt.
It reminds me of the iran-iraq war with the US making sure neither side had enough weapons to win a straight out victory and also have to go to the US to buy more weapons.

Thats the first article i found when i googled pak-sri lankan military sales and that was from 2006.
The indian gave enough support to its hindu brethen the LTTE to keep the war to a stalemate with the chance of even defeat for the central govt ,it was only when pakistan gave the numbers the sri lankans where asking for that we are now in the postion that the hindu minority tamil tigers are on the verge of defeat.

Most of Tamil tiger leadership was / is christian. so much for the hindu angle. u guys have read too much religion, and too little abt other identities (Even the Bongs )
