You can see Mars easily with naked eyes every night with a clear sky, except for very short periods when it is close to the Sun..Nothing new there

Achha.. one very easy way to locate it.. If you have an Android smart phone, then download this app - Sky Map...With GPS turned on you will be able to locate the different stars on the sky just by pointing your phone in that direction. It will show on your screen..give it a try.

I doubt any of those images are real..they are just for gags.
Usually these planets will look like bright stars on the sky, a little brighter than the others. Very clearly visible in clear sky during winter. Sometimes you can see Venus even during early morning as well, if you know where to look for.
