Ruling awami league cheerleading clowns in this forum was selling hoax of 142 story skyscraper. As I had mentioned before it was a land grab scam and no one with business in mind would able to do that. Now there is no takers for the project, it is just awami league "hoax" and empty cheerleading vessels.

Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha prepares for a fresh auction to lease out 60 acres of land at Purbachal New Town project for construction of the proposed 142-storey iconic skyscraper.
It would be the third time for Rajuk to hold the auction for leasing out the land at sector No 19 in Purbachal for construction of the skyscraper.
In the first and second call for auction, no local and foreign construction firms showed interest to construct the proposed iconic tower. Rajuk’s additional director for Purbachal housing project Ujjwal Mallick, also spokesperson for the proposed iconic tower project, said that they had already made preparations for holding a fresh auction.
He said that the auction notice would soon be published on national English and Bangla dailies.
The housing and public works ministry in November, 2015 agreed to allocate 60 acres of land at Purbachal for the skyscraper following a proposal from finance minister AMA Muhith on behalf of US-based KPC Group to construct the building.

The ministry, however, decided to go for an open auction to lease out the 60 acres land to avoid legal complications in future, instead of awarding the work to KPC Group through an agreement.

Rajuk had a primary decision to award the KPC Group, owned by Kali Pradip Chaudhuri, a Bangladeshi expatriate from Sylhet, the land for construction of the skyscraper through the first auction in May last year.

But surprisingly the KPC did neither buy the auction documents nor submit the offer for construction of the skyscraper. According to the second call, which was made on May 21, the starting date for selling auction documents was May 30 and the last date for submission of auction documents was on June 28 last year.

No foreign and local bidder participated in the second call either. Rajuk officials said that after the second call the KPC Group demanded 200 acres of land at Purbachal to construct an international stadium with accommodation of 70,000 audience and an international convention centre alongside of the 142-storey skyscraper.

A Rajuk board member said that they made all arrangements to lease out the 60-acre land at Purbachal through auction to construct the skyscraper following the finance minister’s proposal. He said that it would not be possible to lease out 200 acres of land to a single firm as only 245 acres of land were designated for central business district or commercial purposes at Purbachal.

What it looks like in order to give the land in dirt cheap price to some awami party thugs, "auction" is the method chosen. Regardless, no takers of awami hoax of 146 story skyscrapers.

There were no auction last year or year before.
There will be a tender for PPP in July. If you want you can participate. I can represent you for a fee though. You want to talk about the fees now?

Why would you auction contracts to build the tower... who would wanna buy your contract to build your tower....
Ps. SMO is the best construction firm in the world.... they have been building the tallest buildings in the world for a long time.... Fazlur Khan worked there so yeah you see where I am going with this. We need to bring in SMO for the project.

More like we will be paying for the walls and getting all the illegal immigrant bengalis sent back home to be housed in the tower.

We'll be dealing with his company not him. It is currently run by his sons I think. He can come to inaugurate the tower tho. Besides they are business persons. Won't do anything like you say...after we made their maga merchandise

Trump businesses is more concentrated about building reap estate in America with cheap illegal immigrants.... His business doesn't have nearly as much capability and experiences to build towers of those heights.

You'll need to bring Samsung, Daewoo, Hyundai or SMO to build a tower of those length.

To the proponent of 142-storey structure in Purbachal, I ask solemnly to send us the soil boring logs prepared after doing the Standard Penetration Test (SPT) to make us understand that such a skyscraper can be built in that swamp. This project seems to me a scam whereby AL and foreign groups both are benefited. No where in BD soil such a large structure can be erected unless there is a rock strata, say, 50 meter below the surface.

Did you even go to Purbachal? This is not siltation soil, but a semi hilly area with reddish earth.. You should go and check this out. This was part of the Moduhpur forest

I heard plot is really expensive in Purbachal. My father has 7.5 Katha plot there and he is looking to buy more but no one is willing to sell. Those who want to sell asks sky high price
