Raising US army as Christian Army

...
Islam isn't under threat by our policies globally. Some would have you believe that America has, however, specifically targeted such an objective. Islam isn't under threat by our policies in Afghanistan. Some here would like to pervert that reality into a "perception" also.

I can't imagine what else needs to be said. Your opportunity to practice Islam in Canada, or Mastan Khan in America though, is secured and protected by our constitution and laws. It must be so to satisfy the diverse religious needs of our population. That's not the case in too many countries elsewhere and IS a cause for concern.

Left unaddressed in this or any other thread here, btw.

Like I said earlier- have faith in your faith. Those here appear intensely insecure in such. Their problem-not mine.

Thanks.:usflag:

While agreeing to the importance of "having faith in our faith", I, or perhaps you - are not the one who phoned up the French head of state and tried to convince him that Iran is "Magog", and he, the Commander-in-chief of "neo-crusaders", just took down "Gog" in Iraq.

So who is giving whom a "Cause célèbre"?

If as you say, the objective is to promote secularism in places that would perhaps most "benefit" from it, war by foreign states is perhaps the least helpful instrument. Therefore, along this line, American policies in the Middle East and in Afghanistan are not threatening Islam per se - I grant you. To the contrary, it's probably feeding radicalism.

By that, it sure is threatening the budding flowers of secularism in the region.

"If as you say, the objective is to promote secularism in places..."

Are you, sir, in the habit of intentional distortion of the comments made by others?

I did NOT say such and hope that you'll make no habit of the above. Intentionally or otherwise, that is a distortion.

Secularism is a fact of my country and yours. Others may draw whatever they wish from such. I'm only glad to able to practice my faith as I see it here in America.

I'm certain that I wouldn't be permitted such in other places.

Please don't distort by comments to satisfy your narrow agenda.

My views here are clear and, I believe, fairly-based. I've tried to maintain good humor and affability. I can't and won't say the same for others.

As such, enjoy the thread but I believe I'm finished here.

Thanks.:usflag:

If I put words in your mouth, then mea culpa.

However, your verbatim "That's not the case in too many countries elsewhere and IS a cause for concern ..." led me down a certain proverbial "garden path" ...

Agreed - it's my problem, not yours.

And more power to the continuation of your fair-minded pursuit!

So you mean Taliban have more reason to attack sane followers of some religion. Great, add that one to the long list of Taliban's requirements. Hopefully, Pakistani army is serving whims of Taliban or else more attacks like GHQ will soon follow.
:rofl::rofl::rofl:
I think you are trying to win stupid contest.:azn:
Pakistan army soldiers and officers are Muslims and they are not implementing any religion on them.
there goal is to stop flow of terrorist from Afghanistan to Pakistan.if you know even Taliban in Afghanistan specially Mullah Omar show anger to words Pakistan Taliban because they are killing Muslims in Pakistan.many Afghanistan Taliban commanders operating in Pakistan Mullah Omar declare Jihad against them and kick them out of afghan Taliban.
