What's new

Raheel Sharif will become controversial if he leads military alliance: Abdul Qadir Baloch

There is a reasonable expectation that high ranking members of my government do not work for foreign powers
Even after that he is simply an individual a retired one..Having no influence ..So the assumption remains invalid

Well, neither Oman nor Kuwait have terrorism issues like Syria, Iraq, Libya and Egypt are facing, one can add the sporadic but regular terrorist attacks in Tunisia and Algeria.. those are the main issues for this coalition, as well as preventing any new spreading of terrorism by being pro-active..
Agree with what you said here..

Those are not foreign powers, they are brotherly powers to combat terrorism in the Muslim nations..

.
Isnt this alliance fighting ISIS, and not the illegal war in Yemen?
Well alliance is made to fight both wars against ISIS and against Houthi that is the reason why Iran,. For internal security against ISIS Saudi Intelligence is doing a great job while dealing with those radical idiots. But for operations against Houthi Rebels they need expertise and experience which Raheel Sharif will provided

This government is in a fix...One minister said Government has allowed RS and NOC has been granted the other one sating he will become controversial..
Well government is playing political game like true politicians. On one hand they want to help the Saudi. On other hand they also don't want to loose their Shia vote bank in central Punjab. So that is why they are playing these games

In my opinion they are allowing him but not taking responsibility..It is not just for vote bank..Had it been the vote bank they will come openly and support this.
Secondly no this is not against houti to fight in yemen. As this is the stated policy PA won't cross the boundary of KSA.

Yeap that is the policy of Pakistan Army to not cross the Saudi Borders and no active Military personal on ground . But for officer level engagement and strategic support against rebels in environment similar to Waziristan. This can be provided and Pakistan Army never denied that. And that is what they called Raheel Sharif for.

.
you might not have a problem.

I would have a problem if my country's army chief did the same

Does his loyalties lie to his country ? Or to his new employer who is going to pay him a lot more than his old employer ? Hope you see the issue
I would be disgraced if I move to another country and live their and lecture back home.

What if Canada and India relation deteriorate, where would my loyalty lies, who am I ? A brown asian or gassed up Canadian with no phsycial traits that's makes me look like westerner?

I'm indeed among a confused lot. Even after becoming Canadian, I can't escape my cheap confined mentality of meddling in Pakistani affairs yet I call myself Canadian who refuses to grow out of this dehati aurat mentality

.
It is obvious from your comments you have no concern about your leaders being paid for by foreign entities

brotherly powers ... they can treat Pakistanis working in their countries as brothers
For the first comment absolutely not. Because he is now part of a long time tested Ally and friend of Pakistan. And this is not the first time Pakistan Army or it's officers went to KSA for support and training.

Now for your bullshit comment against Pakistani in KSA . I am living here since childhood. And there is not even a single time I am been unnecessary harassed by Saudis. There are strict laws in process and they want us to follow the laws set by them.

And may I give you one suggestion as India and UAE found new romance as per Indians. Why don't you idiots ask the Emirati to treat your citizens with respect. Because as per my visit to dubai your people live in miserable conditions. Even share bed times with each other

Big difference - I never called Emirates citizens brothers

A difference..But your comments would have been much valid if you could have pointed out preferential treatments to Pakistanis in KSA over Indian or other Asian countries ...or equal to other arab league members expats

is there preferential treatment for pakistanis over Indians in KSA or any GCC state ?
Most of the pakistanis seem to be in the same boat as Indians. Pakistanis are more likely to be in police or military of the GCC states. Some parts of Saudi Arabia may be no-man's land for Indian Hindus

What I am seeing is that Indian business elite getting better treatment than others in some of the GCC states ?
http://www.arabianbusiness.com/50-richest-indians-in-gcc-488856.html#.WNf_6vnyuUk
Is there a comparable list for Pakistanis ??

Pakistanis might have a slight edge in Saudi Arabia. India & Indians might have better relations with rest of the GCC.

You did miss my point...I was referring your post in which you mentioned to treat paksitani better.. if you could have said paksitanis should be given preference then..

Everybody is treated equally ..But normally the preference order after the national goes to GCC then other arab expats followed with asians.

I should have worded things better - treatment and preference

I understand the pecking order
FYI I have no bitterness towards folks higher on the pecking scale
