There is nothing racist about it. Only people vaccinated under an approved programme will be considered exempt from this requirement. This is the same as why only approved labs are used to confirm negative TB tests etc. in India and Pakistan and many other countries. Just the same hue and cry from Indian Lobby using the race card - wannabe blacks.

It's not about vaccine its the programme, or effectively the implementation of vaccine delivery that is not approved or recognized by UK. Same as other tests that are to be done at recognized labs only like in Pakistan TB tests are done at a certain lab only - same test can be done at other labs but not recognized by UK.

Summer - I am going in two weeks time, fingers crossed they stay in the GO list. My biggest fear is them sliding into No GO list when I am away in Pakistan.

I know for a fact people have been getting dodgy COVID tests and just paying to get vaccination certificates without the actual vaccination in Mirpur. If this BS is common, those hicks are going to ruin it for the rest of us.

I don't know if those vaccination certs will be recognized and accepted by UK. They will only accept approved prgrammes which means only those vaccinated in UK, EU or USA.
