I have a question on the 'Thanks' policy here. Observe the images posted below, where I (as Bangalorean) have received 'Thanks' for my posts, in this thread:

I observe now, that the Thanks no longer exist there. This historical snapshot information in the images was obtained through google cache.
Questions:
1. I don't think a member can remove the Thanks he has already given to someone. Is that right?
2. If point (1) is true, then, is it a bug in the forum that caused these thanks to disappear, or is it being removed from the back end, for whatever reason?
And yes, this ID is a double account of Bangalorean, created specifically to post this question since Bangalorean was banned (not sure why, maybe the offending post should be mentioned in reason for ban henceforth to make it clearer).
You can either ban this current user readonly, ban Bangalorean user permenantly, impose an IP ban on this IP - as you wish - my only intention was to bring forth this issue. Mainly because I have seen such things happening mysteriously many times in the past, but I always put it down to my own absent-mindedness. But this time I was pretty sure and thought this issue requires to be highlighted.
