Islamic Socialism ?? Pakistan is hardly that.

Provincialism ?? Yes, to me as an outsider, many Pakistanis take great pride in their tribal and provincial ancestries than to a national identity or a general humanist identity.

Also, as long as Zia ul Haq and his band of merrymen are seen as heroes ( by supposedly Pakistan defeating the USSR ), Pakistan will never be the Islamic Socialist state that Jinnah wanted.

Sure. In the 2019 elections I will vote for a progressive party.

And I will wait for the opportune moment to act somehow against the regressive movements.

India needs a clean up as much as Pakistan does. Surely you cannot deny this.

That is the root cause. Wrong policies in the past have led to extremism in the society. Its difficult to be in the middle of two volatile regions like Afghanistan on one end and Kashmir on the other,.
