TR News said that Qatar is seeking to finance Egyptian industrial projects and the participation of Barzan Qatari Holding Company in the Egyptian military industries sector

The invitation was conveyed by Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani during his meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry in Cairo, where he discussed the agenda of the possible visit of President Sisi.

Reports from Doha indicate that Emir Tamim's invitation confirms that he is quickly seeking to revitalize Qatar's political, economic and financial relations with Egypt.

Prince Tamim may be able to persuade President Sisi to revitalize relations with Qatar through several sensitive regional files.

These files include the Libyan file, the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, oil and gas reserves in the Mediterranean, and Turkish-Egyptian relations.

However, Prince Tamim also plans to put forward Qatar's defense plans for Barzan Holdings to cooperate with Egyptian military industries.

In this regard, he stressed that Qatar seeks to benefit from Egypt's expertise in the electronic, air and naval defense industries.

Prince Tamim also confirmed that Barzan Holdings is ready to finance Egyptian military projects with the aim of exporting arms to African countries such as Sudan and Libya.

It remains unclear whether President Sisi will accept the invitation of Emir Tamim to visit Doha soon or if conditions are not yet ripe for such a visit.

In this regard, the available information indicates that until the beginning of the first week of June, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs had not yet received a response from the office of President Sisi regarding the invitation of Emir Tamim. However, there is no information yet that he will refuse it.

Qatari Foreign Ministry officials believe that President Sisi is carefully assessing the options, advantages and disadvantages of a visit to Qatar, Putting Egyptian-Emirati relations at the forefront of his considerations.

UAE and Qatar are back together and the caution is unnecessarily

When I read this last week, I thought it was hilarious how they included helping negotiate on the dam in their offer, but then I thought it was at the least, a nice gesture by them. Not sure how much clout Qatar would have in that matter.

It might have some clout through Turkey and together even if they add just 1% of the overall clout it will be that .. Egypt needs everyone in this affair..

Always positive with every outlook. :-) I, on the other hand, think that even 1% won't matter with Abi and the Ethiopians if US pressure and everything Egypt has done even through the UN for 12+ years and they've only gotten more stubborn about that thing and the 2nd filling is due to start which is about as far as patience can go. Plus they're moving armor and some military to the Sudanese border despite the Tigray humanitarian disaster, it's unbelievable how brazen this Ethiopian government is. I think the UN and the US and the world has just figured out what devastating treatment the Tigrayan people have been through at the hands of the Ethiopian military and the savagery they're putting them through that it will take precedence over the dam. But either way, I think we're seeing the final push coming before this 2nd filling.

Yes It was referring to that second push mainly.. because when Sadat said no one can take a grain of sand from us in Sinai .. war followed .. now Sisi said no one can take form us a drop of water from our share of the Nile.......... So a final push by everyone who believes in the Egyptian water rights from the Nile and has some good sense would do his best to avoid a certain war if things go bad with this Ethiopian govt that has nothing to lose in all this but boost its ego.. they are really in disarray internally and they have elections coming soon so they want to hold on to their position otherwise they will lose credibility with the masses they count on for reelection ..in fact they have mixed up a vital problem with neighbors which is a foreign affairs issue with their own internal politics.. every peace loving country in the world should intervene to avoid this conflict in the name of International law and order.. Because this Ethiopian Gvt seems really out of its mind not to say crazy..

This is like some insane person that wants to control a water pipe passing under his house or near it to cut water going to his neighbors and claiming it is his right to do so.. in this case the municipal government will certainly intervene and either stop this insanity or put the guy in jail.. on the scale of states it is the UNSC who should intervene fairly ..if not that means there is no law and order on this planet ..
