Punjabi VS Pashto: Which one is easier to learn?

I,know there are quite a few people out here who speak both. My question is, which one is easier to learn for a rookie?

I don't speak Pushto, but my guess would be Punjabi.

Because Punjabi has much more in common with Urdu than Pashto.

Definitely punjabi if you speak urdu.
My pashto is very weak, so I can't say for sure.

bas yun hee poocha.. pata nahi kab kaam ajae... anyway it much more fun if you learn a language with swear words but mods wont allow it...

My mom side is urduspeaking family from Karachi, but she was raised in Peshawar and she can speak good pashto. Pashto is not too hard, but ofcourse for Urdu and Punjabi are very similar languages, so obviously punjabi is much easier to learn. Pashto is a eastern iranian language

Pushto (various dialects are difficult to decode, other than Peshawri)

If you know Punjabi ---> Then Seraiki is easy as well --> If you know Seraiki ----> Then Hindko is very easy ----> If you know all ---> Then you can decode Sindhi effectively ---> If you know Turkish on top-----> Then everything starts making sense (Osmanlica)

Definitely punjabi if you speak urdu.

And my fav and most common pashto word to use

Kuni=G***u

In Punjab everyone understand urdu even if he didnt learn to speak or write. Same is the case with people of other provinces? Because punjabi and urdu are quite similar.
